Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir choisi Centennial Moving. Les dates de déménagement et de livraison ont bien été respecté. Tous nos meubles ont été emballé avec soin, et sans surcout. Le service à la clientèle est réactif, j'ai toujours eu une réponse dans la journée.
Il ne faut juste pas oublier que c'est une entreprise qui regroupe plusieurs déménagements pour pouvoir proposer des bons prix, donc il faut avoir une certaine flexibilité au niveau des dates et des heures de livraison. Mais cela permet d'avoir vraiment un très bon rapport qualité de service / prix.

Long-distance moving can be really stressful specially if you dont have a reliable moving company. I was returning customer from their Local company in Toronto called Miracle Movers our experience at Miracle was great thats why we decided to contact them and they transfer us to their sister company, which is Centennial Moving to help us through the process of moving in to Calgary.

We spoke to our coordinator, Stan Jarvis who was very professional while he explains the process, cost and to expect during the moving procedures. Stan, if you are reading this feedback, my partner and I really appreciate you and your team who help us out to do this long-distance moving smoother than we anticipated. We also would like to mention the team of Sergio Morales from Toronto who picked out our things and they carefully managed to pack our things in time.

We also would like to add, our coordinator Stan and Eric from dispatch team who is very responsive from all of our emails and calls for an update and questions. That really helps a lot from all the worries that we can think of.

Lastly, the team from Calgary, you guys did an amazing job. Seeing our furnitures and things that is intact is awesome! They really took care everything and make this experience memorable

I recently had a long-distance move from Vancouver to Ottawa with Centennial Moving, and overall, I had a positive experience. I'd like to share the pros and cons of my experience to help others make an informed decision when choosing a moving company.

Pros:
Timely delivery: It took about a month for all my items to be delivered, which is acceptable for a long-distance move.
No damage: I was relieved to find that there were no issues with my belongings upon arrival - no broken furniture or damaged items.
Honest pricing: The cost of the move was fair, and I appreciated that there were no hidden fees.

Cons:
Last-minute fee change: The day before the moving out was scheduled, the company tried to charge a higher fee due to some stairways. While I understand that additional work may sometimes warrant a higher fee, the late notice and lack of prior communication left me feeling uneasy and somewhat taken advantage of.

In conclusion, Centennial Moving provided a satisfactory long-distance moving experience, and I would recommend their services for those who need to move across the country. Just be sure to clarify all fees and potential charges beforehand to avoid any last-minute surprises.

I am shocked by how poorly I was served this time. Long waiting times, sketchy last-minute cash flow problems, and all my stuff in terrible shape.

I used this company with no problems two years ago which is why I picked them for my move from Calgary to Halifax.
I got the same great customer service right up until they had 95% of my worldly possessions on their truck. I had asked when our stuff would arrive and had been told that a truck leaves Toronto headed east each month on the 15th. I had also seen the "long" estimate of 21 business days. It took 6 WEEKS to get our stuff! That's 32 business days!

Finally I was notified we would be getting our stuff on the 29th. Just a few days before, suddenly they emailed me to ask if I could pay a portion in cash. As a 5'2" 125lbs woman, I'm not always comfortable carrying large amounts of cash. I asked why and they said to cover travel expenses. I asked if they needed a few hundred or up to a thousand and they asked for nearly $2400 in cash! After I protested this, they walked it back saying "no one was forcing me" (Who hasn't heard that line before? Not forcing, only holding on to all my stuff for the last 6 weeks...Hello power dynamic...) and they would accept an e-transfer.

They chose exactly this moment to kindly remind me that they could also charge me even more if it's a long enough walk from the parking lot to my apartment. A fact that was really clearly spelled out in our contract but which was now coming off as a thinly veiled threat.

The leader of the movers who brought my stuff told me they actually needed the cash to pay their guys and only had enough on them to pay them up until the end of tomorrow (Super sketchy). He also lost my paperwork so I had nothing to sign and no final bill of lading.

Which I then needed-- to file a claim because they broke my $3500 elliptical and our 55" TV. See how smashed up my boxes and bins were? Those totes were the same ones I used to move before and they somehow arrived intact last time. This time, they're all trashed. It's like they threw all my boxes down the stairs. Larger items arrived rewrapped with their identifying tags missing. Boxes had half the tape pulled up, and had big gaps from being squashed. A lot of things had to be washed because the squashed boxes were also strangely filled with dust and grime. I have included only a few pictures as examples of what things looked like. The only reason more of my things weren't smashed to pieces is because most things were well wrapped inside their boxes and bins in bubble wrap and butcher paper.

I emailed them to let them know how upset I was and all I got back was a copy paste message directing me to go through the claims process. I am not optimistic about the results of that. We'll recover our things, we have private insurance as well, but I'm still completely disgusted by the total disregard they have shown here. What a gong show.

Update: They've let me know I'm not entitled to any compensation because I had basic protection. So because I didn't pay the extra "protection fee" they are free and clear to smash up 500lbs of stuff before they owe me a nickle. That's right folks-- I'll admit it here and now. Centennial Movers fully met their contractual obligations. This is what I signed up for and it's on me. This is what you sign up for.

I moved from Toronto to Edmonton. I choose centennial to move my belongings and a car. Excellent service. Always updating you. The car took 4 weeks to arrive and arrived in very good conditions. Also the belonging in good conditions. Nothing got missing or damaged.

It was very smooth moving with Centennial, the movers were respectful and careful with our house and items. Delivery from Toronto to Edmonton was about 4 weeks, their representative Dave was very helpful and attentive throughout. I have a couple items have broken corners, but out of 70+ items shipped, it's quite acceptable. Highly recommended!
