Wonderful convenience store with many items and a huge variety of beverages although very overpriced. The store is by, clean and spacious. It is shared with Subway. I just wanted a coffee and it was delicious. They don’t have real cream however which is truly unacceptable! They have the unhealthy coffee mate with palm oil and the flavoured cream that is disgustingly sweet.
Staff are extremely kind. The young man and young woman at the counter served me with great manners and warm smiles !

EDIT*** Since this post, and learning all I have about this store, I'm starting to wonder if it's a money laundering business? 🤨🤷‍♀️***

I just wanted to share with the Facebook world what a terrible experience I had tonight with Riel at "City Convenience" in Meadow lake.
Even though I knew going in tonight it was way overpriced, I wanted to treat my daughter and myself as we had a very long day.
As we were looking around the store at all the different things that they carry, Riel tells me she has to use the washroom. So we go to the washrooms and see there are signs on both of them "closed for cleaning"- if you've never been there there are two side by side bathrooms and to the left of them there is a maintenance room where there was a man filling up a mop bucket (which I assumed was the man cleaning the washrooms). Riel and I were standing there waiting to use the washroom the man filling the bucket made eye contact a couple times, did not acknowledge us at all- so I said after a couple minutes of waiting "let's just go keep picking her stuff out until they're done cleaning the washrooms" (all within earshot of this man).
So we spend another 5-10 minutes looking around at the different items and picking out a few. I finally bring them up to the till and tell the man working at the till I'll wait to pay for these because my daughter needs to use the washroom at which point the man working the till tells me the washrooms are closed for the night. This was before 9:00 p.m. they are not closed until 11:00 p.m. I cannot tell you how frustrated I was, that the first man never said a single thing about it, the signs on the door do not say "closed for the night" they say "closed for cleaning". How rude and ignorant. I told them I didn't want any of this stuff and we would go to a different store to shop. My daughter cried because she didn't get the (overpriced) things she picked out.
Like is that not against health regulations?
Needless to say- will NEVER go back there again!

I left sev due to them having only one till and 15 people in line. I came to city they were very polite and respectful and made my night better. Such postive staff members even close to clothes.
