This place definitely skims off the top, on multiple occasions they would count 19 for every 20.

Yes it is 5%, but that’s 5% that they skim off of people which isn’t rightfully theirs.

I wouldn’t blame the younger staff, as they are probably being told by the owners/parents.

Just have your phone out and record, that seems to keep them honest.

I have no complaints. I never bring in a ton. I put cans back in the box they came out of. Saves time and prevents discrepancies.

Untrustworthy & significantly less return back then other bottle depot locations.

I'm not sure what their motive is; however I conducted an experiment for myself being: taking the same amount of bottles to this location as another location in Calgary.

This bottle depot gives back a significant amount LESS then when I go to a bottle depot in Calgary.

They are scamming amounts & for what purpose other then self gain? Idk🧐

My toddler had a meltdown outside the bottle depot, so I was standing outside trying to console him. Two members of staff came outside and grabbed all of my bags for me, brought them inside and processed them for me so I could keep consoling my child. I so appreciated this show of kindness, understanding and help. ❀

Is it weird to review a bottle depot? Probably, but this one rocks! They are super efficient. Super clean. You get printed receipt and your money immediately. I just think this is a really nice place to recycle.

I wanted to leave a review because I saw some of the more recent reviews when I was checking the hours and while I don’t discredit anyones personal experiences - I wanted to say that my first few times going here I thought that maybe I was getting ripped off (these were my first times ever using a depot location period) after that I started counting and organizing my “returns” - each time I have gone with my things and compared my count to the count I have received back - IT HAS BEEN SPOT ON. Very clean, very fast, and extremely friendly staff. I have had several different employees count my returns - most recently Koda and they were exactly on with the count and very nice! Keep up the great work!
