It was very cold on the bus, considering that all the windows were closed. The driver was a woman, but nevertheless she behaved inhumanely. I waited until she finished talking on the phone to let me onto the bus, but it was very cold outside. There were quite a few drunk people on the bus, which was just disgusting. The whole bus smelled terrible.

This was listed as a pickup place when placing Wish orders. Do not, I repeat DO NOT get your Wish orders shipped here for pickup to save a buck! Both times I have gone to pick up my order within their posted business hours, no one has been there. The associates at the cash register for the Flying J will tell you that this happens all the time. There is a number listed on the cage door to call, but there is no answer, and the voicemail inbox is full. If you do get someone, they are very unprofessional on the phone. Calling the company number in Edmonton is zero help because they have no idea what you’re talking about. They say they will find out what’s happening with your package and call you back, but they never do.
My husband went today to pick my package up for me because I was there this morning and couldn’t wait around. He said when he was there there was another woman that was there for the third time in two days trying to pick her order up and experienced this as well. She was frustrated — rightly so.
So please, take my advice: pay the extra buck or two for home deliver to save yourself a mountain of headache.

One star is too many. This place is never open. The phone number on the sign goes to a number which is never answered. How this place is in business is beyond me.

Red Deer Stop review:
Its inside a travel center meaning it isn't a bus station itself, I do not recall seeing any Cold Shot employees at the location apart from the bus driver himself. There was food for sale, bathrooms, and a small sitting area with tables to pass the time. Be wary as there was no announcements made when my bus arrived but the driver did step off the bus and confirm if everyone was boarded before we left. I do remember seeing another woman also waiting for the bus but by the time the bus arrived, she was nowhere to be seen. The driver did try to look for her but eventually the bus departed without her.

Cold Shot Bus review:
During the time of booking, Cold Shot had the cheapest fares for Red Deer to Calgary, but I did dislike the van like buses they use. The buses do NOT have a onboard bathroom, they do not have overhead baggage space, nor was there any power sockets available. Their website did mention USB sockets but I do not think there were any in the front row seat I was seated in. The smaller van-like bus was bumpier compared to a larger motorcoach that other bus companies. like E-Bus, might use on the same route.

However, the seats felt roomy enough, and had a good recline, I was able to take a nap. I do feel like if the prices and timings were the same, I most likely would choose and recommend E-Bus instead of Cold Shot bus company, but for now, they seem to be competitively priced to offset the shortcomings in onboard amenities. Ultimately, I was able to depart and arrive on time, safely, and the bus driver, who I believe is Indian, was helpful and professional. Alhamdu Lillah for a pleasant journey.

There's no one there! You have to phone and they might show up I was told when I got there. Google Maps GPS won't get you there as it is a $#!+ App!! Google maps sends you in circles near the place but never to it. The whole experience was beyond maddening. Ship by mail cheaper and easier

Fair price in bus and courier easy and fast way to ship. shipped in the evening it was delivered next morning less expensive then purolator and ups even better than canada post. Deffinately reccomend to try their parcel service. We must proud on our Canadian company
