If I could give 0 stars I would. Package out for delivery since 2 pm and still not received at 10.30pm. I am sure they will invent the classic excuse of mechanical issue or similar for not delivering. Already happened. By the way, tracking system still shows out for delivery at 10.30 pm. Even if true, how they expect people stay up just to wait for them. Unfortunately I had no choice for shipment otherwise I would have never picked them. Stay away from DHL.

My package was held at the border for almost a week, which I understand is not their fault but I filled out all the documents sent to me and paid the duty within the hour of getting the email sent to me. They said my package would arrive the end of day. It didn't arrive so I called the next morning and they told me they didn't get it on a truck and to continue checking my tacking to see if it was on a truck. They couldn't tell me if I would be getting my package that day. It's been 2 weeks since my package has arrived in Canada and still nothing. I paid extra money for "express" delivery. Pretty crazy. Terrible customer service as well.

I hired DHL to bring a personal identification document (passport) from Brazil to Calgary. The estimated delivery time from my parents' house in Brazil to my home in Calgary was 7 days, so we sent it on January 13 to receive it by January 20, well in advance, as I need the document by January 31. I selected the option for a shipment of documents only, with no merchandise.

First, the document was held up at Brazilian Customs. When I contacted DHL (something they had to do proactively), they informed me it was due to a "standard operation" by Brazilian Customs, causing delays of up to 7 business days. I later discovered that DHL had been aware of this since November 2024 but did not inform me when I booked the shipment.

A few days later, the document was sent to Calgary, where it arrived on January 23 and has been stuck since then, undergoing repeated customs clearance events. I had to reach out for information because DHL did not notify me. I learned that I would need an invoice for Canadian customs clearance, despite having told them from the start that it was a personal identification document with no commercial value.

Now, I will have to spend my time and resources going to Customs and DHL facilities to receive a delivery that I paid for to be brought to my door. The dictionary could use a DHL logo next to the definition of "ridiculous." When I need to, I’ll be sure to turn to your competitors.

DHL IS an Absolute Joke

One of my packages was held at their facility (Not customs, at their local facility!) for over 12 days without any explanation. I contacted a manager multiple times, but they failed to resolve the issue. Despite promising to call me back four times, they never did. Instead, they falsely claimed to have left voicemails.

To make matters worse, they are now insisting I go to the airport to pick up the package myself—despite the fact I paid over $600 in shipping costs! Their chat agents were completely unhelpful and offered no solutions. The level of incompetence and lack of accountability is shocking. Absolute joke of a company!

Great DHL service!
I was texted, emailed and called by the driver to ensure I was available for the delivery.
Driver was fast, accurate and professional. Their website also allowed me to make any delivery changes and add instructions, which was very helpful as the buzzer panel was not working.
The packaging was strong, protective and water resistant. It was easy to open with scissors so I know it wasn’t tampered with.
So wonderful to get this kind of service from delivery companies these days.
DHL is a service I would certainly use again.

I recently dropped off a parcel at this location, and my experience was very disappointing. One of the employees, an Asian man, was extremely rude, grumpy, and impatient throughout our interaction. His negative attitude was really off-putting and did not reflect good customer service.

I asked a simple question about the tracking number on my label, but instead of providing a clear response, he was rude and dismissive. He barely took the time to answer me and immediately moved on to the next customer without resolving my issue.

It’s frustrating that a business would allow such poor customer service to happen. A bad attitude like this can easily drive customers away. I hope management looks into this because it left a very negative impression.

Your service is absolutely terrible. My package has been stuck in your warehouse for 4 days, costing me thousands of dollars in down time on my machine. Your representatives promise call backs within 1 or 2 hours, and never do. They won’t let me pick it up, but also won’t deliver it.

Terrible service! Terrible Company! If i could give negative stars i would! How can i pay for express shipping and the dates of arrival continue to move and I end up having to pick it up myself from the warehouse. You guys need to do better, and i expect a refund for the money I spent on express shipping!
