I had to come on different dates to switch over my license and then my car registration from AB to NWT, but the staff were very kind and helpful, so it was okay. Stuart and Bianca were amazing! P.S. Book your appointment, come on time, and bring your documents, and the process should be quick and easy.

The waiting time was 1 and a half hrs. Instead of sitting continuously, I went out. After coming around 1 hr 15 mins, there was no way to know if they called me or not. They kept no such scope to know. It doesn't show who was called before. Even there was no employee or volunteer in the sitting zone whom I could ask that. They prefer us not to go out but then why such a huge waiting time? Our time is valuable and we would use it outside if required.

It also doesn't show who'll be the next person to be called.

Besides, no Wi-Fi in the waiting room.

Pre requisite for working here is to be extremely rude and condescending. Every time. Knowing the workers are some of the worst people to deal with, I try to go in there polite and friendly only to have it shoved back in my face. If you have just one little detail incorrect, their day all of a sudden has purpose, and that purpose is to make you feel like a complete idiot. Everyone knows DMV workers have a tough job but come on, you don't need to be like that.

I booked class 4 road test. For some unavoidable circumstance I had to leave the city. I asked for refund but they rejected. They could only reschedule the appointment but no refund.

Waiting inside is much better than waiting outside. Which is good. Made my appointment by email and got a response the next day with appointment date. The process was smooth with no hiccups

The online appointment system is meh, I wish I could have gotten in sooner than waiting 2 days but understandably this is how is has to be for now. On my appointment day I was in and out in under 15 mins, to register my vehicle so that was great.

Been waiting for 5 days now to get a appointment. No more walk ins, services being reduced. I wonder if they'll reduce taxes now. Not likely.
