Great hotel! The room was very clean and cozy and the staff were very helpful. Could not have asked to stay at a better place. This hotel did not charge extra for our kids like other hotels are starting to do. It was a very enjoyable stay.

This will be our third stay here. The first time was great - room was fine, and there was a friendly kitty cat that had a little bed in one of the stairwells. There was a decent bit of noise from people yelling and stomping around outside, but manageable.

The next two times were much worse. The noise never stopped these two visits, and the rooms were rough. The AC wasn't working for one stay, and with 31C temps, it was pretty awful.

This time around the room is even rougher. The AC works, thankfully, but the room has too many noise issues even when other guests are causing noise outside. The bed creaks incessantly with every motion. The mini fridge whines like a child that was never told no, a fine dusting of grit covers the floor, the bathtub and bathroom had stains and grime inside the tub and on the walls. At least a little swan was made out of towels on the bed and in the bathroom.

Had we not pre-paid and pre-booked, and evacuations causing every hotel/motel in the area to be full, we would have chosen another location. We won't be returning.

It seems that there was another guest in this specific room before us, and they moved them to a different room and stuck us with the dud. I came to this conclusion because we were visited by an evacuation team to do a headcount mistakenly, and they had check-in room numbers for the evacuees that were on their bus, so one of the evacuees was in our room originally. Pretty annoying that we would be tossed into what is clearly a dud room after having our room booked for more than a week. They made a calculated decision to put us behind other guests in terms of importance.

The Front Office Manager Joanne was very cold and quick with checkout and did not mention the email survey this time around, I suspect she saw this review before we checked out. I hope you decide to come up with some excuses and respond to this review Joanne.

Stay here on February 12, 2024 the room was clean and over heated. I call from desk and told him it’s like a sauna in this room.i said i turned the thermostat down then he said it will cool of in half hour. 1 hour later I called the front desk again and told him the is still to hot in the he said keep door open it will cool off. Front desk sent maintenance to the room to check thermostat and he said works it will half hour to cool off. The room stay very hot all night I also had 4 cold showers.

Look at the lake and TT I think I have a cup of coffee and I will be there in about an hour or so I guess it will be there in about an hour or so I can give me an estimate of coffee 😉😉😉 and I will be there around noon or something like that path to the middle of the day after I get off work and I will be there in about an hour to me too I guess I don't have a cup for the cabin but I have y for a few days to be a donation to get the car 🚨🚗 and it is the link for me too and I don't have it to be able and it is a donation to get it to the portal for a few years old and I'm going to have to go to work and see if you can you please donate to me and I will be there in about

My husband, grandson and I stayed here last night. The hotel was fully booked due to evacuees from the wild fires. My first impression was ok but I was quickly brought back to reality. The room was dated, the sink was cracked and there was hair in the bathroom. I'd wish I could say that was the worst of it but unfortunately it only got worse. The noise was unbearable. People were yelling, arguing, children were running around, stomping up and down the stairs and in the room above us. This carried on well past 1:00 in the morning. We had to let our dog out in the middle of the night and I felt unsafe to do it alone. When we returned to our room the door would not lock. I paid $180 for the worse night's stay I've ever had at any hotel. We finally packed up and left by 4:30 in the morning. I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel! We shared our concerns with one if the security guards on duty and were belittled and not taken seriously. A complete waste of our hard earned money.

When you drive up it looks like a typical roadside motel. But once we got inside our room with a kitchenette, we were pleasantly surprised. The room had a gas fireplace (turned off for the summer) and a small round table with two comfortable chairs. They would be great for relaxing in front of the fire on a cold night. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was very very clean. The cupboards are all quite new and the white cupboards help brighten the room. A large fridge comfortably held all our food. The bathroom was very clean. ||||There were lots of lights in the room. The bedside lamps, floor lamp and ceiling lamps gave lots of options for making the room bright and comfortable. This was a pleasant change from most places that only have one or two lamps in the whole room.||||It's obvious that management cares about the facility. While it could use new shingles on the roof, a worker was busy replacing the flooring in several rooms.||||Be warned, however, they do have smoking room. Smoking is allowed in one of the ground floor wings so if you make a reservation, choose accordingly.
