Elder Move Inc. is so much more than a moving company. We hired them to look after an estate. And they did it all. From an apartment full of the usual contents and especially papers from the last twenty years to a completely clean unit in just three weeks! Shannon and the team were respectful and efficient in sorting through all the papers to toss the junk and preserve the essentials while respecting the privacy issues. They managed the sale of contents where possible and otherwise disposed of the rest. Then the compassionate manner in personally handling mementos and keepsakes was exemplary.

Shannon with her crew -- five members of the team at Eldermove --helped us immensely!! From our first meeting, we were convinced that this company was the one to help us with our move. From photographing our very full bilevel, to measuring our new suite, to making a floor plan with our furniture in mind, to packing our treasures, to unpacking (including making our beds!!) -- every phase of our move was handled professionally and efficiently. Hopefully these people don't move furniture like they drive. Had one of their workers abruptly cut me off almost causing an accident while trying to get onto Calgary Trail South from 51st Ave on Sat Sept 16. (image will be attached). You really need to plan your plan and act your plan. As someone who works in one of the highest critical risk industries I was highly unimpressed by their actions which forced me to take a photo while at a stand still and I make a point to never touch my phone whole driving.

Shannon and Val are a outstanding team that are very organized and cover every detail you may require. Her movers were also very careful, kind and diligent in taking good care of my mom’s furniture and possessions. Shannon and Val are professiona,efficient, and dedicated. They made my mom’s best interest and comfort a high priority.
They are efficient but at the same time friendly, caring and at ease to be around. Shannon has a keen eye for detail on the move out and especially on the move into the new place. We would highly recommend Elder Movers.

My parents' move from their house to an assisted-living apartment was bittersweet. But Shannon and her team were very considerate of their feelings as they gently packed all their belongings. All 5 ladies were personable and pleasant. The move-in was exceptional! The 3 furniture movers were careful and nothing was scratched. The ladies unpacked every box and set up the kitchen, the curio cabinet, and even made the bed. When my parents walked in after all was ready they were amazed and appreciated that their new place already looked like home. My mom told me she thought the invoice was very reasonable, you don't hear that from a senior very often!

ElderMove will be going back to the house to empty it for sale. They will take the furniture and donate it to Ukrainian Relief for us.

What a great and professional company! From start to finish they all look out for the health, safety and peace of mind of their clients. My Mom was moving and was nervous about her belongings. She had furnishing that were to donate and would not be coming with her. Elder move took everything away to be donate or trashed so Mom didn't need to worry. All of her stuff arrived at her new place and was put exactly where she wanted it so she could just relax and know that Elder Moves was taking care of her belongings with pride and great care.
