I came to Erin not expecting much due to previous experiences with therapists. My relationship of 9 years had just ended and I was at a low point in my life. Erin challenged me to look inside and helped me see the good within myself. I walked away from each session with what I called “nuggets of wisdom”. These were things I would use in my life to change my perspective or view of the world.

Fast forward to today that relationship that ended after 9 years didn’t end after all. In fact we both see Erin to work through things we never worked through before. For me I am able to discuss things I never would discuss before because Erin helped me understand that if I did open up the love of my life will only love me more for sharing.

One “nugget of wisdom” Erin shared with me one day after we had discussed the possibility of repairing my relationship with my one true love. That nugget was “ if you are 100% honest she will see that and we can deal with it but if you hold anything back she will see that and she won’t ever trust you”. Best advice I was ever given.
