Hamidi and Dahir completed my move (with 3 flights of stairs might I add) they are nice, professional men. Worked well together. Communicated calmly. Took apart/put back together a furniture piece for me. They knew what they were doing which eased my stressed.

This company is amazing! Communication via email was quick and friendly. The quote and hourly pricing was very competitive and easy to understand. On the day of the move Hamid and Fuller showed up with a very large truck. Both gentlemen were friendly and carefully wrapped furniture in moving blankets prior to loading it on the truck. The move took much longer than expected with multiple stops at both ends of the move but they worked hard until everything was squared away. Thanks for helping move my mother from Milton to Toronto!

Approx 8 years prior we utilized GR Moving. Excellent work. Then in May 2024 we called upon them again. New owner. Stay away from them. Quoted move between $1600 to $2000. 3 guys $165 per hour. Never came out to look until I suggested strongly they come out. Came out changed his tune saying need two trucks. And 4 guys. Showed up late. 2nd truck arrive in afternoon. 1/2 full of another customers stuff. Could not get all into trucks. Left Muskoka chairs behind. Next day delivered (late) and wanted full payment. Showed bill which now jumped up to $3400. Would not negotiate. Pay us or you will not get your belongings. OWNER would not call me. Manager ridiculous. Forced to pay. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I booked for a short move from Ancaster to Brantford. The service was good and both Fuller and Chris were careful and skilled movers. Truck was a little late but the move went well and within the quoted time and price. Office was closed so I had to pay etransfer vs credit card. If not for these two points I would give 5 stars. I would use them again.

Peng, Wes & Luis were fantastic - professional, thorough and polite. They showed up with all the boxes, tools, runners and blankets necessary. They disassembled anything required, and reassembled once in the new house. They put everything exactly where we wanted, truly going above and beyond!!

10/10 would have this crew again! Thanks guys!!

Had Grand River Moving move our large pieces for us from Kitchener to Grand Bend. 3 strong guys showed up. They worked so well together, were polite and accommodating. One piece in particular was extremely heavy. They took care and moved it without a scratch or complaint. Thank you Peng, Wes and Nick. You are all very professional at your work and it was appreciated.

Would I hire Grand River Moving again? Absolutely not.
The movers themselves were solid, zero complaints about them but the company itself is disorganized at best. 5 stars to the movers but 0 for GRM. I booked an out of town move 2 months in advanced, they quoted me $2400 which wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive so I thought it's a good middle ground. Unfortunately, the movers showed up an hour and a half late and Jamie Bets said it's because they had to unload the truck. One of the movers asked me where I was headed and what the delivery date was so he clearly had no idea what was going on. They finished loading the truck after 3 hours so head out to my new place. I arrive 5 hours later (3.5 hours with good traffic, leaving at the scheduled time would have been met with good traffic) . After an hour I called their main line to ask what's up, the person that answered said she'd call the driver and get back to me. After another hour, I call again and don't get an answer. I tried Jamie's personal phone and once again no answer. At this point I just want to know if I need to book a hotel because I have no idea what's going on. Finally 2.5 hours after I arrived, I get a call from the movers saying they're 30 minutes out. True to his word, he arrived 30 minutes later and had everything unloaded after 2 hours.
The final price ended up being close to $3k despite consumer laws prohibiting moving companies from exceeding 10% more than the original quote.
All in all, the movers themselves were great but the company is terrible, I do not recommend at all.
