Wonderful owners! Very friendly and helpful. They definitely go the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. One of my favourite places to visit and one of the best lakes to kayak. Beautiful scenery.

My sister and I recently went to the marina to avail of their water taxi to get to an obscure island on the Magnetawan. Both drivers were awesome and one even pointed out a bear as we went through the channel. I used to come to this place as a kid decades ago and I'm so glad that it's still there. I will definitely return the next time that I'm in the area.

The cottages are perfect, the lake large and fun to explore, the owners and regulars alike are all amazing to our family including our furry friend. This is year 4 and by far our favourite summer tradition.

I was amazed with the level of hospitality that was provided by Orest. We had a canoe reserved for a canoe trip and our tire blew on the way up just outside of Parry Sound. After a finding a tire place and ordering a tire in Parry Sound we decided to just have the car towed to the Harris Lake and left there then towed back to the tire shop in Parry Sound when we returned from our trip. When calling Harris lake to give them a heads up I would be arriving with a flat-bed truck Orest asked me what was wrong exactly to see if he could help. I informed him of the tire and it being ordered to Parry Sound and he offered to get someone who was going to there during our stay to pick it up for us. He was able to take my rim off, have it delivered, have the tire installed and then put the tire on himself in their shop all while we enjoyed our trip. It's a family place and they look after their customers well.

I don't recommend renting canoes from here if you intend to do any serious tripping. Despite assurances on the phone prior to the trip that these canoes would be appropriate for the conditions, we received three heavy canoes which we were barely able to portage and had to abandon our intended route as a result. We had one seat and one yolk break. Better to rent from a proper outfitter and launch here if necessary.

Amazing cabins, breathtaking views, and great fishing all to had. I've personally been here 3 years in a row and every year has me coming back for another trip.
