Don’t Get Fooled by the Website’s Photos – Reality is Completely Different!

I went to Hillcrest Florist on Sunday, August 10 to pick up a flower order my sister placed online from California for my special occasion – my proposal. She ordered the “Blush Rose Bouquet by Vera Wang” – Premium Package ($189 plus tax).

When I picked it up, I sent my sister a photo, and she immediately called me: “This is not the premium bouquet I ordered!” The bouquet had only 14 roses, while the website photo clearly shows a much fuller arrangement (around 40 roses).

I drove back to the store with the invoice she sent me. They admitted they gave me the wrong package and added 10 more roses – still nowhere near the premium bouquet pictured online.

The most frustrating part is knowing that if I hadn’t sent the photo to my sister, they would have let me leave with the smaller bouquet while charging for the premium price. They delivered the standard which is $114.99 while my sister ordered $189.99! $75 difference!!!! That’s unacceptable.

The photos on their website are beautiful, but the reality is nothing like them. The quality, size, and presentation fell far short of what was advertised. You can easily compare the website photo with what I received!!!Misleading, disappointing, and not a place I would ever recommend!

Ordered flowers from their website. Usually I go into the store. I called into the store for some information and the person that answered the phone was friendly and provided good advice.
Website is easy to use and flowers were delivered better than as shown on the website.
Good quality flowers, delivered on time and the delivery person was friendly.

Wish I could give them negative stars, they made me 100 rose bouquet and the quality came out trash!!! Charged me a huge amount for the flowers and the service and it didn’t even come out good, it came out worse then any bouquet I’ve bought from any other florist, I went back asking if they are able to do anything to fix it and they said they can’t except make a new one and charge me for it, trash service and trash flowers, will not recommend to anyone to ever buy from them!! Look at how discoloured the flowers are!

Hillcrest Florist is our go to flower shop. Always create beautiful arrangements. See below picture . My husband surprised me for International Women’s day with my favourite flower arrangement from Hillcrest Florist.

They also were able to fill my request today, March 12th and deliver a beautiful huge flower arrangement to Mississauga before the viewing. It was beyond our expectations. We were not able to take a picture of the arrangement . We could have used local flower shops near the funeral home, but decided to shop local knowing that Hillcrest Florist always offer superior service and produce the most amazing arrangements .

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with my recent experience at Hillcrest Florist, where I ordered a bridal bouquet and a boutonniere for the groom. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a scam.( 2 first photos are what I ordered and others are what I got!)

Firstly, I was informed by the lady who took my order that one bunch of flowers would be sufficient for a medium-sized round bridal bouquet. Despite having consulted with four other florists who all recommended 3-4 bunches, she insisted one bunch would suffice. The day after placing my order, she called to inform me that their designer believed one bunch wasn't enough, and I was asked to pay an additional $20. I reluctantly agreed, emphasizing once more that I wanted a round, medium-sized bouquet.

On my wedding day, my husband went to pick up the bouquet and boutonniere, and was unexpectedly charged $28 instead of the agreed-upon $20. To our dismay, the bouquet was a complete disaster. It looked like someone had simply wrapped a bunch of flowers together without any effort to make it round or follow the design in the picture we provided.

I called Hillcrest Florist to express my dissatisfaction, and the same lady who took my order answered the phone. She initially questioned if I had even ordered from them and claimed she couldn't find my phone number. She said the store manager wasn't available but would call me the next day. When the manager did call, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. She insisted the bouquet was round and justified the $28 charge as $25 plus tax. When I pointed out that the additional charge was supposed to be $20, she grudgingly offered to refund $5 without any apology.

The rudeness and unprofessionalism I encountered were astonishing. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. This florist promises a lot but fails to deliver, making the whole experience feel like a scam. They ruined my wedding day with an ugly bouquet that anyone could have arranged better. I strongly advise others to stay away from Hillcrest Florist.

I recently ordered an arrangement of flowers from Hillcrest Florist and I couldn't be more pleased. I ordered online and the whole process from browsing to finish was easy. A great selection to choose from for all occasions. Everyone LOVED the arrangement of flowers. Fresh, stunning colours and a variety where every flower stood out. It looked exactly as shown online. It was ordered late morning and delivered mid afternoon. Great service! I will definitely use them again for my flower arrangement and bouquet needs. Thank you!
