Wow! I'm completely blown away by the treatment I just received from this company. I have been dealing with them for quite a few years now and never had a problem with them until now. I'm really perplexed. I called on Saturday at 3:15 pm as usual to get a small grocery order. The person I spoke to, handed the phone to another dispatcher. He explained they had lost two drivers today and were complely swamped. They were unable to do our grocery order. I was upset and told my wife as much. I heard on the phone "yeah, well we don't like you much either." and he hung up on me. Now, we've always excepted everything that was brought whether it was wrong or not. We even tip the driver. When I called back to get information on the company, I got we are just slammed right now I can't talk to you.

I ordered a case of budwiser cans32.22 a case 12 dollars delivery that's fine gave him 100 while im on the phone I'm not prejudiced against anyone ,but this forion guy pocketed my money ,he gave me 7.80 change I called hubtown they said he gave me just over 6 dollars change Which is a lie first time I ever had any issues with them ,I gave him 100 dollar bill hubtown owes me 47 80 I told them 45 we can call it square still waiting for my change he stole

Starting on a good note- Typically very fast service and often very kind drivers/delivery persons!! A lot of the drivers are good conversationalists and very enjoyable to speak with. Myself and my boyfriend order services from hub town quite often and they seem to always remember where they’re going and who their about to see because of this! Prices also seem quite fair & they’re quick to warn you in advance if you can expect any extra charges for any reason.
However, I’ve had drivers peek in and knock on my windows rather than the door while coming around the building which kind of seems like a breach of personal privacy? This has happened when it’s not even my order (duplex building & is the neighbours). Just seems weird to peek in people’s windows, especially when you’re not sure you’re at the right place? & Who knocks on a window rather than a door unless you know the person? Also- sometimes the dispatch woman seems snippy. I’ve had her cut me (or bf) off and ask me to slow down while speaking to them on some occasions & then other times (while trying to speak slower) she’ll ask questions about my order that I would’ve got to the details of if she’d let me finish before she cuts me off. I’ve also had whomever is in dispatch assure me MANY times over the phone that the driver would be ID-ing me for liquor (presumably because I SOUND young) and then the driver comes and doesn’t ID (& I don’t look that old either; being 23). Sometimes professionalism by SOME (definitely not all) of the employees seems slightly... slacking.

Honestly most of your drivers lack the capacity to follow simple directions. If it says " please leave the order on the deck and knock because we have cat's and I'm immunocompromised" then please leave it on the deck. But it seems like most of their drivers are unwilling to read the note. And it seems to be only men drivers who seem to refuse to read the instructions and also not wear any masks when delivering the order. Step up your game Hubtown it's pretty sad.

I specifically said I didn't want brand name gravol. I asked for the bottle with 100 that is walmarts brand. What do they do? They get 3 packages of brand name gravol that literally cost me almost $40! Never again will I call them.

Used them a few times with no issues today ordered $70 of groceries and 1 second stop for 1 item. Total of items 178$. Total at the door 214$. They don't tell you that they charge an extra dollar $1.50 per $50 when you need to use the debit. Pick ups can range anywhere is between three dollars to $5 even know the stop is literally five minutes away from the other. I ordered four bottles of Pepsi too hungry man dinners a box of kitty litter a bag of chips and salsa and 2 4l jugs of milk and bacon. I expected $20 for delivery and $1.50 for the machine. Instead I was charged $36.

Wow, don't try talking to the business owner! She thinks she can be rude and condescending to her customers and thats how you do business. Listen honey, when someone has a complaint, take ownership and don't be a rude - try listening vs talking. It's ok to mess up or be wrong, we customers know it happens - but you did NOT handle that right at all and showed real lack of customer service skills!
