I am so impressed with this company! My move was a bit more complicated than others, since I had a 7 week gap between homes,
Unlike other companies that seem to create drama and stress, Karina and her crew seemed to make all the drama and stress go away. Karina was very personable and attentive, delivered everything that was promised (and more!), and adapted quickly to changes and last minute requests. She even helped me to find safe, secure storage for my furniture and belongings while I was in between homes - and at a cheaper rate than anything I had seen.

Staff were friendly, professional, and quick, and took care to be sure my belongings were secure. They helped to take apart bed frames, desks, dresser mirrors, pedestal tables, etc. so I didn't have to, and put them together again when I finally moved into my new home.

The price was very fair - nothing was required up front, so I didn't have to keep track of any down payment. There was an issue with my bank when I tried to pay by e-transfer on the day of service, and Karina was very patient and understanding - again, no drama and only support.

In all the chaos, I mistakenly left my washer and dryer behind when I first moved out of my former home. I texted Karina for help, and she called me back a half hour later to say they would pick them up and deliver them to my storage locker the next day. They did this, and did not charge me for the additional service - what other company would do that?

I would have no hesitation in recommending Hunt Family Movers to friends and family, and will certainly use their services again for any future moving needs!

Karina and moving team did an amazing and professional move of our household belongings from London to Barrie. Our occupancy date changed numerous times and Karina was very accommodating and a great calming factor when all we felt like doing was panicking.
All items carefully wrapped and well padded for the move in their trucks.

To say that Karina and Hunt Family Movers saved the day would be an understatement! We had hired another moving company to assist us moving a fridge and they abandoned us on site and completely inconvenienced the person (twice) that we were purchasing the fridge from. I was desperate and had no idea what I was going to do…one call to Hunt Family Movers and my problem was completely solved. Karina made arrangements to have our fridge picked up and moved the next morning! She and her employee were understanding, helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable in moving the fridge with no issues at all. We would highly recommend Hunt Family Movers…we will definitely be using them for any move we need to make!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Hunt Family Movers. Their work ethic, professionalism, and interpersonal skills are exceptional. Karina met with us in prior to move day to discuss the move and develop an organizational plan as well as to provide a detailed quotation. On move day, she and her team showed up on time and prepared the house with mats and wrapped each item of furniture with blankets and plastic, taking great care to protect the furniture. She and her team members were respectful and pleasant. They worked diligently and truly seemed to enjoy what they were doing and worked well together. A portion of the move involved moving furniture into a retirement facility and assembling the furniture once there (and even making up the bed!!) The staff of the retirement facility was extremely pleased with Hunt Family Movers, specifically their respect for the facility, its staff and residents. The final invoice was exactly in accordance with the quotation - no surprises. I would not hesitate to recommend Hunt Family Movers. 5 stars plus!!!

Karina and her team were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely hard working and very professional. Furniture and breakables wrapped and loaded onto trucks and no damage to anything. It was an extremely long day, 13+ hours. All through the day the team remained cheerful and helpful, even setting up our beds so we could enjoy a well deserved sleep (as they did too). We cannot say enough about these wonderful folks! We have used them 3 times and they are always kind, professional and respectful to us and our belongings. There are less expensive movers but you get what you pay for and personally, we prefer to pay a little more and know our home pieces will arrive safely. From the initial call to waving them goodbye it felt like we truly had family moving us. Ron, Frank and Herb were so awesome and Ron even put the beds and crib together so we didn’t have to worry about that part!! Karina is one of most wonderful, kind and amazing women we have ever met and she treated us with such compassion. We will ALWAYS use Hunt Family Movers!!!
