100% recommended! I send everyone I know to the downtown IDA on Concession in Russell. Family run, the owners are almost always there.

You are always greeted with a pleasant hello from staff. They go above and beyond to assist you with your needs. They can always get your prescription in in very reasonable time. I have had many pleasant experiences with this pharmacy.

I previously made the mistake of assuming that they may have a more difficult time getting more complicated prescriptions as they are a small store, boy was I wrong. They have exceeded all standards, even offering to deliver my prescription to my home.

I changed insurance companies and had not yet received my insurance card, Cindy (the store's owner, who works the front line all day) just about did a hand stand to try and get the insurance to cover the medication. She tried inputting the little details I had, called the insurance, and was put through to an adjuster, she literally did it all! This is the quality of service they put out every time you go!

The store is immaculate, it feels clean, the isles are large, without clutter.

If you have any questions about remedies or over the counter medication, the pharmacist always makes time to discuss your symptoms, asks questions and always gives complete and honest recommendations.

Give them a try, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Wow!! And I'm sad I didn't transfer to this pharmacy sooner!!

We've been in Russell for over 4 years and because, in town, my prescriptions were at shoppers drugmart, I figured I'd keep the same and went to the one in Embrun.

The pharmacists in Embrun make you feel like you're bothering them. I went today to get some OTC medication and they didn't have any, of any brand! Which is mind-boggling of a big pharmacy.

As soon as we walked into IDA, we were greeted by a huge smile and a genuine hello. We were walking around looking for the meds. Right away, the associate who greeted us asked if she could help. We said we needed the meds and she said yeah the pharmacist will want to talk you, I'll let her know. The pharmacist, the lovely Cindy, came to us and gave us the meds we needed with a thorough explanation on how to use it and other tips to improve the situation.

We were so blown away by the stark difference in service between our old pharmacy and IDA that we asked her what we needed to do to transfer our files here. She went above and beyond and requested our family's files right then and there. Explained to us how the app works, said she would call later to confirm my medications. And sure enough, I got a call later on in the day to discuss my medications and renewals and refills.

I'm still blown away by the excellent quality of service we received from Cindy and her team!! We will definitely be recommending the pharmacy to anyone and everyone!!

Incredibly friendly and professional staff! The employees and the pharmacist are always so helpful and welcoming.
