In my humble 24 years driving in the trucking industry, I must let anybody who is interested in IRT my short experience with the company due to personal circumstances. They're absolutely ? the easiest people to deal with!, I mean by far they took the flag for me.

Without counting the first week due to orientation, etc., I made 6 paychecks total in which, I was able to make not 1 but 2 paychecks with well over 3500 miles a week, one of then close to 4000 miles! (Yes, in my first month and including a reset also). If you are an individual who likes to avoid the noise from others that surround you, keeps your head down, and likes to work then you absolutely must consider this guys, good people, great equipment and lots of common sense!, thank you and good luck. ?

UPDATE UPDATE!!!, After a short absence, I came back on January 3rd 2024, except for the first week of orientation and me helping out on flying out to bring a tractor that was due for trade in, as it now 2-10-2024, I've been doing not less than 3000 miles a week!, this past one well over than 3400 miles!, so, why am I letting you know this?, it's very simple, again, if you are a motivated individual this place is for you!, if you like to run, they'll keep you busy!, they got several new accounts since I came back!!, they got even better as far I can see, layover pay, delays etc., got paid no problems at all!, highly recommended!.

Here to highly recommend IRT to any professional driver that is looking to advance their career in this great company, as a driver Ive been treated just like family from day 1 they work with you with any situation you could be going through. They have basically all the food grade accounts all over the US so if you want to run coast to coast and make tons of money this is the company to drive for. The job itself is so laidback yo don’t have to load or offload your truck it’s always the shippers and customers that do that you just chill while that’s being done. Btw you never get harassed by dispatch you get all your load info on the tablet and plan your trip out.

Night guard is rude. I drive for a tanker company was told to come here and drop my trailer to get it washed. I asked the guard if he had shower I could use. He told me the shower was for company drivers only non-carriers were not allowed in here very rude but yet when their drivers come to our facility, they have access to showers and everything.

The reality is that every company has it's ups and downs. And in a imperfect world it really bottoms down to the dispatchers working with your needs. Let's face it,sometimes we want to roll n put in miles and sometimes we have appointments and personal obligations to meet and need to be home.
In my 2.5 years experience working for IRT
I have to say that roughly 90 % of the time they (dispatch) work with me on trying to get me back home when I need to.
And no we don't get paid for live load/unload but the ppm is respectable and for me that's good enough. I won't get mad if they give me a raise tho.lol.
But really, I'm glad to be here bcuz this company has turned out to be a blessing to my family and I. Hope this was helpingful.

Need to teach your drivers that it's actually illegal to cover their windows with cardboard while the vehicle is in motion going down the road, watched him almost take out 4 different cars while trying to pass, and couldn't see out his window, this happened on 8/20/24 on us highway 97 just before chiloquin oregon roughly between 5pm and 530p. Pulled into Crater Lake travel center, and when he left, he thought he was a rocket, he was flying through the parking lot, and didn't even stop for the stop sign when he was entering us hwy 97. I have been around IRT for years and they have always had great drivers, sad to see they are now picking seaweed out of the bottom of the bucket now.
