I wish I could give -10 stars. I really can't leave a review because it would have to be completely censored. Rude and disrespectful is saying it kindly, but boy I wish I could vent freely on here. *sighs*

Wildly unhelpful. I just moved and have a lot of flattened cardboard to recycle. I was told to bring my cardboard here by encorp. When I get there they tell me I have to hand bomb all my cardboard through the building and out the back. That's a lot of cardboard to haul and no one would help. I took it to the landfill recycling instead

Very easy. A little picky with recycling beverage containers; I had my account locked because a small leaf may have been in my bag.

The indigenous lady with the glasses that works the till rips me off every time she yells at me saying that I don't move the flats fast enough but I know she's not counting it so I try to take my time so I know exactly how many there are. And even though I do she rips me off at least $4 to $6 each time and that is a lot, especially when you're there starting all the cans very very rude. I should always go to the young Asian guy because he's good and he doesn't rip off people.

I've seen a lot of comments about being ripped off and I've had the sneaking suspicion myself of this being the case. I don't get that feeling at the Oliver bottle Depot

If I could leave "0" stars, I would! RIP OFF, RIP OFF, RIP OFF!!! Told to fill clear bags and drop off. Then, get yelled at bc bags are too big? (standard garbage bags) Then get yelled at because some cans are "dirty". Bring in 6 full big bags, and get credit for 200 cans Will start taking photos and videos for proof. Its disgusting!!!!

In Calgary where I’m from, the customer just empties out their bottles and cans on a table in front of an employee(worker). The employee then grabs 4 (cans, bottles) at a time and tosses them into bins right behind them. As the table gets sorted just pour another bag out and repeat. Why the hell does the customer have to do all the work here. It’s totally ridiculous that they need to be sorted, put in boxes and then shopping carts in order to get paid? The Customers become Employees at this place, without getting paid for doing these ridiculous steps..

It feels weird leaving a review for a recycling depot, particularly the only one I'm aware of being in Pen, cause like. What other option do you have? But I'm extremely bored at work, so why not.

Anyway, it's about as chaotic as any other depot. The staff are friendly enough, but yell at me (in order to be heard over the depot sounds, not in a rude way) to do something different every single time I'm in there. Use the blue bins. Don't use the blue bins. Bottles can stay in cases, except when they can't. I wouldn't call it a bad experience, it's a bottle depot, so it's not even an experience really, but it's confusing as hell haha. It's also the only bottle depot I've ever been to that doesn't accept crushed cans.

I'm not sure why this is - do ya'll figure I'm somehow pulling a fast one by cutting cans in half and carefully crushing them to hide that and get twice the refund?

But they're usually smiley and very quick once you actually get to the counter.
