Honestly the service was so awesome. I've done so many dump runs and this was so much more convenient. The guys work quick and are willing to get pretty much anything out of your home. The price was way cheaper than I expected for the amount of stuff we had to get rid of. Would 10/10 recommend!

The guys at JunkAway are great to deal with. I needed to rent a roll-off bin to assist with clearing out my apartment before a move, and this company was fantastic at making a stressful situation so pleasant for me.

I got in touch for an estimate and within 20 minutes or so, Darren had one emailed to me for approval. After accepting it, he sent another email for my address and where I wanted the bin, then dropped one off the next morning.

The driver that did the drop off was also so nice. He ended up needing to put it in a different spot than I had originally wanted, but he was super friendly and professional when he asked my dad to move his car so he could place the bin in its place. He was also able to answer any questions we had, which made everything so easy.

Pickup was also very quick, considering the weather constraints that the guys had to deal with due to the wind warnings in our area. I notified them the same day they dropped the bin that it was ready to go again, and received a swift reply with a rough idea of when they'd try to come. When they did arrive, it was a quick 10 minute job of covering the bin, hooking up, and hauling it away for me.

Pricing was more than fair considering I was asking them to come out of Lethbridge, and due to JunkAway also giving a 14 day rental period, which was more than any other company I had contacted was willing to give me. The price was well worth it for the professionalism and efficiency that was shown to me.

Also, as promised on their website, there were no hidden fees at all on my final invoice. It was just the price for the bin, the mileage and such to deliver to Fort Macleod and then pick up, and the final disposal fee. Nothing more, nothing less.

Overall, I would highly recommend using JunkAway if you need a bin (or any of their other services) inside Lethbridge, or anywhere in their out of the city service area. These guys are efficient, professional, and they really do leave you happier than you were before once they leave.

with all the positive reviews that this company has, I was not expecting the extremely lacklustre service I've received both times I contacted them.
While they are quick to respond initially, and the pricing breakdown they give is quite thorough. that's basically where the positives stop for me.

Contacted them about a month ago asking about the cost for their bin rental as well as their junk removal service, and was quickly given the bin rates for inside Lethbridge, and told that the junk removal depends on how much of their trailer I use (duh, I wasn't thinking straight with that one).
I emailed back as soon as I could, asking for the out of town rates as I live in Coalhurst and didn't think to mention that when I initially put in for a quote. Never heard anything back for weeks, even though there is NOTHING in their email saying that the address isn't monitored (which it would have to be - it's the same email you send e-transfer payments to).

Submitted for another quote last week, mentioning that I live outside Lethbridge and would need those rates, along with a vague description of the stuff that I needed removed. Once again, the reply was swift and I was sent an estimate that time for approval.
Accepted it (and selected the Cash option for payment) even though they were roughly $225 higher than other companies, purely because no one else had any availability for the time frame I needed it for, didn't have the bin size I needed if they did have anything, or they didn't come out to where I am. Was emailed rather quickly again, asking for my address (it was on the quote request form, but whatever) and where I wanted it dropped at when they got it here. I was told once they got that info they'd send a deposit request.
Emailed back promptly again, only to be met with ghosting and radio silence. Gave them the rest of that day, assuming they may have just been busy, but never got anything the next day either.

Called two separate times the first time I contacted them, and did it again the second time, and was met with their voicemail. Left messages all 4 times asking that someone call me back because I needed to get this done, and never heard a thing despite leaving my contact number in the messages.

Ended up having to get my partner to rent a vehicle and flatdeck thru his job so we could get the job done, since this company just doesn't seem to like replying.
If you don't want replies thru email, SAY THAT IN YOUR INITIAL EMAILS TO PEOPLE. Don't just ghost them cause you can't care to respond.

While the emails were always professionally worded and helpful, I'm never going to contact this company again. They're only getting the 1 star because I have to give something, and they are pleasant to deal with until they ghost you.

The service from junk away couldn’t have been better! I called and arranged for next day pickup of junk/old broken furniture, and they arrived early for the appointment. Super fast no hassle service - I just pointed to the junk, and they did the rest! 10/10 recommend and will use their service again.

Quick response and superb service, they removed my old furniture within a mere 24 hours of calling. The team was not only friendly but also efficient in their work. The fair pricing and the fact that the debit machine did not ask for a tip was refreshing. I still would have tipped but didn't have any cash on me st the moment. However, the service was excellent. Definitely will be calling them again. Highly recommend.
