I don't even think this should legally be a place to stay. It should be shut down. Absolutely disgusting. Looks like it's never been vacuumed or clean. Thank god I had my bleach spray with me. The health inspection and fire department should check this place out and shut it down

It's been over 10 years since we ate at the K Motel since we moved away. We were pleasantly surprised that the lunch specials were still very reasonably priced and delicious. My wife and I both had the steak sandwich which came with choice of soup or salad, and you can have mashed potatoes french fries or rice. We ordered the steak medium and it did not disappoint. It was priced at 1299 which is very reasonable and we left very satisfied. Would highly recommend checking out the dining room for lunch specials, not sure about the supper menu.

I had planned on stopping over in Swift Current for the night and was looking to pay about $100 at a place with breakfast included ... there were several listed and reviewed on this site. As I drove into town from the west the '$50 a night rooms' sign caught my eye so I turned around to check it out. Before booking in, I took a look at the room they were offering and found it was quite fine as far as I was concerned. After settling in, I looked at the reviews on this site and found that not only were they old reviews (the most recent being 2016), but were all completely negative. Being a regular contributor on here, I figured I would post a review that reflected what I found when I stayed here, and take a few photos to post as well. For the price, I found the room to be quite fine - large enough, with a comfortable bed and strong, hot shower. There was a 32" LCD tv with plenty of channels to watch and controls that worked just fine. Included in the room were a large fridge, coffee maker and good free wifi - 3 things that were not included in rooms I have paid more for. Although just off the highway, it was quiet at night with only the occasional large truck going by that could be heard. It is certainly no $100+ room, but is quite suitable for an overnight stop if you are on a budget and don't feel the need for 'fancy'. The $50 I saved bought me a very nice breakfast the next morning, and I drove away feeling good about the extra $40 I had left in my wallet. Perhaps it is different in summer if there are a lot of work crews in the area, but I found no reason not to consider staying here again on my next trip through. A good stop if you are on a budget and are simply looking for a decent place to hang your hat for the night.

This establishment needs to be shut down! My best friend and I stopped in for one night, dropped our bags and left till later. When we came back in the evening we noticed the room smelt awful, we started to snoop around and the absolute disgust we saw we kept calling and calling the front desk with no answer. We went to the front and use the night phone and finally got a response. The lady was super nice told us that room hadn’t been used in months, and hadn’t been cleaned since she started working there. After a conversation we found out she had just been released from jail for some drug charges. We were transferred to another room at almost midnight but despite that room being in better condition we barely slept for just how disgusting this place was. The pictures speak for themselves! There was hair and food on the mattress and red stains all over the protector, for a non smoking room there was burns on the alarm clock and lamp, the phone was dusty, mold on the fridge shelves, hair on the sheets, the floors were so beyond dirty, the sink was rotting out so the water leaked everywhere despite the attempt for a bucket to collect it, an exacto knife on the floor, I can’t even explain how gross it was! The pictures will speak for themselves! When we confronted the owner he didn’t care about our concerns and said we switched you rooms and that’s all we need to do, no offer for a credit or even a breakfast at their restaurant, nothing. There is no pride of ownership at this place and I can see why it’s been for sale for such a long time!

Old but clean the food is out of this world awesome plate presentation and friendly service. It looks run down but the service and food is phenomenal I stop here every time I come thru and have never been disappointed.

It is a pretty basic restaurant, service was friendly and helpful. The food was not great, we complained about roast beef cause we couldn't cut it with a knife. The replacement piece was only slightly less tough. The chair I was sitting in felt like it was going to fall apart and you can get the same dishes elsewhere in town for cheaper. Not a great experience.
