Kindersley transport customer service needs a lot of improvement. The lady that handles scheduling delivery appointment is so unprofessional, and very unhelpful. She hung up on me while discussing how to manage a situation that was created by them.
Vitran acquired the wrong ship!

I called in to have a shipment reweighted because the shipper's scale had been wrong. And they didn't. Now I have to pay for double the weight it was because they have no paper trail.

Drivers have no regard for safety or following the law! All within 5 minutes: 1) Going in reverse on a public road without making sure it was safe to do so and almost hitting me. 2) At the same time as 1) the driver was on a cellphone. 3) Same driver parked across a crosswalk (the only one in the school zone) to make a delivery to a school which has clearly marked loading zones. 4) Made a u-turn in the middle of the school zone after making the delivery. Incident happened on June 20, 2023 and the van in question had license number 793 KVM.
I privately messaged the company after the incident with no response. They clearly don’t care about the safety of other drivers or children! Two of the things they were doing are illegal and ticketable offenses. Not someone I would want working for my company and representing my name. Shame on Kindersley Transport.

So I had to out a Starr but it's a negative one at that. Freight coming from Edmonton AB, to Redvers Sk, it was shipped on March 6, made it to Regina March 7 transferred for delivery an its March 17 now an still haven't got my stuff. It's a joke for service out here by them. It time line order an now I have to call customers because stuff not going to get done on time again. This is the fourth time there shipping has taken over 12 days to get to me an screwed me over . I've emailed an have no reply again last week . Word of mouth to others don't use unless you want to wait long time to get stuff. Oh my stuff is in a 3 x 2 box an weights 40 lbs maybe, it's foam products bulky package. Worst shipping I've ever had. Not recommended.

So many costly problems can occur when customer service assumes the shipper and the consignee understand all the nuances involved in shipping pallets of goods across the country.
