The place is embarrassingly disorganized. You cannot tell where the bus pickup happens without asking prior. It's insane to not have a single employee on sight in the morning (9am-12pm, I'm not sure if someone came later). Not just for advising and information handout, but also for security reasons given a lot of alcoholics were hanging around (and I mean other reasons too, what if someone put themselves in danger on the railways). There's no vending machines or access to bathrooms if the employees are absent. Props for location, cleaniness and as a photoshoot location for post-apocalyptic vibes

This Go train station is almost in downtown kitchener, so it’s easily accessible for those living in downtown waterloo and kitchener as there is also a local bus stop and go bus stop as well in front of the station. The trains are also departing/ arriving almost on time.. so, reach 2-3 mins ahead of departure time, so you won’t miss the train. Billets/ presto card loaders are working in good condition most of the time. There is some waiting room which would be closed after certain hours.

Parking needs to be improved, especially in peak times it is very tough for those commuting everyday via train to park their cars due to insufficient parking space. Overall, it’s a better option to commute to toronto or other urban areas

This is by far the worst go station that I've been to! No parking what so ever which has caused us to miss our train. They have have 30 spots for a train that goes to Toronto, embarrassing! Not to mention no staff on hand for assistance. This has put a real sour taste in my mouth and has ruined a family trip for me and my family. Because of this experience I will never travel go again!

No service here. Signs every where telling you do not ask about GO service it's for VIA RAIL only. No trains after a certain time of day. Scanned presto card at train station and was accepted
Had to take a bus and scan again. Makes no sense. Confusing to travel from this station. No guidance provided

Recently started utilizing this service to get my daughter to and from university. Prices are fantastic though. It would be nice to have the service run to Stratford again. We have to go to Kitchener in order to utilize it.

The GO train station in Kitchener is very small, but the location in downtown Kitchener is great. However, the connectivity of buses and the bus stop locations are a big mess. It is very confusing.
I suggest to look for bus stops very carefully.

GO transit service is quite descent for weekdays. However, the station itself is very outdated (Guelph Central GO looks so much better even with less population), absolutely no customer service for GO, waiting room is locked for GO passengers, looks eerie in the evening, no free parking and it is so car conjested during peek times that you risk getting hit by a disturbed driver. Some parts of the station are a bit hazardous/worn out, and are a risk of a person tripping when entering/exiting the parking lot towards the station. Also the station would benefit from having a second connect-to-GO GRT sensor being placed closer to the platform. This station is desperate for improvement (and weekend GO trains too!)

Don’t arrive too early, especially in bad weather. The building may not be open and everyone has to wait outside. I recommend 10 minutes in advance.

Took the Go train on the morning of 2024-02-17, around 11AM. The building was closed. Arrived 30 minutes early and had to wait outside in the cold.
