My husband and I have had a couple of unfavourable experiences with Kynocks since February 2025 leading up to our completion of our projects, and while we would love to support our local community the woman who greats you at arrival, and seems to be the only one to answer your questions is extremely rude, condescending, defensive and short with her tone. In early March we saw that there was garden soil on site and we wanted to head in and get a head start on placing our order so we would be guaranteed garden soil for our projects. When we walked in and asked about the garden soil and how we could purchase the piles outside, her response before we could even get the question out completely was "that is frozen solid", then when we finished our question she responded with "that is frozen solid". She is very unkind and not the individual who I would have greeting customers. That said, we left without buying anything, and had a very bad taste in our mouth from the interaction. Fast forward to last week, my husband went in again (we wanted to give them a second chance) and asked about purchasing garden soil, and she said "roads are closed we aren't delivering", my husband then said, "but when the roads open can we have it a significant amount delivered", then she responded to him with, "that's what you say now, but once its delivered it will just sit there on your property and wash away with the rain". That would not happen, and even if that is what ended up happening, what business is it of hers what we do with the dirt, and when. Needless to say he left without purchasing any garden soil. We have now decided to get our 4 tandem loads of garden soil from another supplier (Elmsdale Landscaping, who were so wonderful and informative to work with). If management reads these, I honestly feel like that woman at front is ruining your business. As a small business owner myself, I would never tolerate my staff treating anyone the way she does, and from what I have read in the reviews, this behaviour has been going on now for over a year and she is still there, and still treating people the same way, even though it appears she has been spoken to several times according to the review responses from the company.

Fast service, great for rock, skip for soil, and delivery driver needs better aim. Driver loaded my organic lawn soil on top of 1/3 of my pea stone… see photos. I definitely did not want more rocks in my soil. My soil is made up of a lot of rocks and large sticks (see pics). There was heavy rain on the day of delivery so I’ll need to mix it somehow after it dries but that’s not their fault. I grabbed a handful of the soil and what I found most were sticks and rocks. Go buy the bags of soil from the stores but if you need rocks go to Kynock. Am I satisfied? Yes for pea stone. No for soil.

The team was nice to deal with here, but I am very disappointed with the "Garden Soil" I recently received. It was very heavy and basically like clay. It came in clumps and I literally had to break it down by hand a little bit at a time which took hours. Its too heavy to grow anything in and its full of little weeds popping through now. Realizing it was too heavy to work with, I bought a bunch of lighter media to mix into it so it wouldn't go to waste. Time will tell if that was a waste too. I don't have issues with other products they sell, but stay away from their soil.

Premium top soil was filled with gravel and mulch. Absolutely polluted with weeds.
Yard was sodded new last fall. Gave it a light top dress in the spring, and it’s devastated.

Ordered "Premium garden soil" and it's about 30% rocks and wood. And, it drains terribly - a few days after rain, it's bone dry on top and muddy about 4 inches down. Here's some of the wood chunks I picked out of the top couple inches.

When I complained they sent me a template email on how they make the soil. I asked for a partial refund since it's useless as garden soil this year, and got no response.

There's much better options. I hate to recommend Home Depot, but the garden soil I had delivered from them last year was flawless.

Very impressed with this company. They accidently sent me the wrong type of gravel. One quick call later they had another truck on the way with the right stuff and was allowed to keep the previous load. I can guarantee you will not find better customer service.
Cherry on top is the prices are very competitive. Yard to yard they are much cheaper than Home Depot. Would suggest them to anyone looking for a quality service.

Female answering phone sarcastic and condescending . I had questions about having a full truck mixed load delivered. When I finished the call she continued to complain about my questions to her colleagues without putting the phone down! We have found another supplier we will be purchasing a truck load from. They have far better customer service and their reviews are excellent!
