Dealt with Izzy from the time I contacted them, all the way until our 400 cf shipment was delivered in Italy. They even helped us right at the end of our journey to ensure my family got our bed on time. Communicative and I compared prices with 3 other companies. I would use them again and recommend. -Joe

tl;dr: the owner is a liar, the shipping a nightmare, and there is a high chance your items will be stolen/damaged.
At first Izzy was very helpful and easy to work with. He was attentive and offered a reasonable price for our move. But there were issues as the moving day approached. We had to reschedule our move a number of times to accommodate a large move he was doing with the military. Then, the real trouble happened. The US-based movers contracted did a poor job with our move, resulting in almost $10K of damages and missing items. As a previous posters experienced, this included intentionally "losing" a box of valuables (it seems in very large moves they under-count a few boxes and take them, hoping your are overwhelmed by the manifest; side note, avoid VIP Relocation, who are the ones who mishandled this aspect of the move). The arrived shipment was in disarray with boxes missing numbers, double numbers, and incorrect descriptions to numbers: it took a month to properly inventory everything.
But even getting our stuff was a hassle. Our delivery was a month delayed to ship--which Izzy never informed us about. Actually, we heard NOTHING from Izzy for months until I reached out and asked about the status of the shipment. That's when we were told our shipment was about to arrive--forcing us to scramble to get all the acceptance paperwork ready and avoid holding fees. Apparently, this was in issue with the shippers not communicating and Izzy having some medical procedures. I'm not really sure whose fault it is, but for almost $20K, I expect someone to manage my delivery and tell me when my items are shipped and when they are arriving.
Even the insurance process was a nightmare (Atlas insurance; avoid at all costs). Their policy does not pay out for damaged furniture unless it's broken, so all those scratches and dents worth thousands of dollars to fix were not paid out. Worse, they wouldn't cover the missing items because the New Zealand delivery wouldn't write an explanation for the missing items even though the delivery invoice clearly showed the items were not delivered--and it was impossible to determine what was and not there amongst 200 boxes without unboxing everything due to the poorly prepared move. The whole process took 7 months, and they offered less than $500.
While much is this is not Izzy's fault per se, he is the one who hired the people responsible for these problems. Moreover, to file the claims I needed a letter from Izzy, which he said he would provide. For over two months I have called multiple times a week to get this letter. He either ignores the calls or, when you do reach him, tells you he will get it to you shortly (but never does). A year and half later, there is still always an excuse. Lying is the last straw, and I don't think you can trust him or any of the people he contracts.

Moved a container with about 150 boxes from USA to Asia with Legend. One box that had number of our valuables (about $15000) were stolen. Ignore the glowing reviews - fake reviews posted by people who have only posted once. I made a big mistake and fell for these fake positive reviews. Many people (shipments to Columbia, Mexico, Dubai, etc etc) have lost valuables with this company. Dilgently, read the real reviews and experiences. If you absolutely have to use them, I would at the very least do a criminal background check on the moving team. Izzy the manager is very knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me $250 off due to delay in shipment. It is a small percentage of the overall loss once we realized our most precious box went missing/swindled in Los Angeles.

I've used Legend International to move all my stuff from Los Angeles California to Vienna Austria. They were very professional, on time and they wrapped and packed up everything really well. They also documented everything I sent and labeled everything with numbers. They gave me a copy pf the packing list. They took care of everything, even customs.
A few weeks later they contacted me in Austria to schedule a delivery day. Everything was accunted for and nothing was damaged. Needless to say, I was happy.
Two years later, I designed to move back to the US. This time I had even more items. All my stuff is really nice and expensive. I called Legend again, they showed up with a truck a few guys and a lot of parking materials. I was really worried about my bedroom set made of cherry wood. They double wrapped the wood and even added stiff cardboard to the edges and corners to make sure it was protected.
I was flying to Texas but I wasn't sure if I'd settled in Texas or another state.
That wasn't a problem for Legend Int. They have a where house in Houston.
So it took me 8 months to finally figure out where I'd like to live. I was a little concerned about my stuff since I haven't contacted them and a while has past.
When I called, I gave them the address and a few days later they delivered everything. Again nothing broken or lost.
I will have to move one more time and I'm definitely going to have Legend Int. Move me.

We waited 179 days to get our belongings from Los Angeles to Thailand. Welcome to Covid! Izzy Lerner was amazing to deal with, and he responded quickly back by email and the phone as well. Given how the shipping world has been turned upside down, they did a great job. And the Thai moving company that handed off our belongings were also top notch! (Boonma Moving) Thanks again Izzy!

I used Legend to move from LA to Israel. Izzy was super professional. He was very responsive both over email and by phone, walked us through the process step by step, and offered us the best price in the market. I would highly recommend their service for moving across countries!

We used this company to move from LA to Dubai. We specifically didn’t tape up the boxes we packed and told them about some of our high value stuff.
And that’s the mistake because when we received our stuff in Dubai, all the boxes came except one which had all the high value bags, some clothes and jewelry. These guys were so smart that they didn’t tag the box and so insurance can do nothing. And nobody is willing to take any responsibility and we lost $$$ worth of stuff. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY- the packers clearly worked together and quietly stole our box.

I wish I checked these reviews before contracting with Legend and Izzy, because I wouldn't have used them. I've picked this company to move a few boxes from San Jose to Dubai, and chose them even when they were the most expensive of all other companies. I've explained to Izzy time after time, that the most important thing I wanted to move safely are my three guitars. He repeatedly promised that this is their usual shipment, they know how to move guitars, they do it everyday and what have you. The team he sent me used cardboard to store the guitars, and even that I checked with them more than once they said it's something they do all the time. Stored, shipped, delayed for 2 months, and then I received the shipment to see the boxes damaged on the outside. I opened them, and see two of the guitars they stored are broken in half.
I've told Izzy several times that these guitars have sentimental value for me, it's very important to not break them, and he just lied all the time saying this is something he did repeatedly. Asked me to leave his team to do the packaging and storing. Guess what, the books and guitars they stored all got damaged and broken, and the one guitar that didn't break was the one I stored.
I reach out to him, and you'd think he'd at least empathize with you. Nothing!! He barely responds. I spent months following up with him to get the insurance paperwork to fill. He wouldn't even show some professionalism or understanding when I told him of that. Barely responds to my email, which was not the case with him when he was asking for the money or making the sale.
I go to the insurance to get my money, and of course the company he asked me to work with for insurance charge high access, so the amount they paid back didn't cover the cost of even one guitar.
I really wish I've read the reviews here before working with this company. But you should be very careful about working with them, and find other more professional companies to work with.
