Awful delivery service. They wont call you when they arrive and there is no way to get into your residence and are rude about it saying the delivery driver has no phone. Every other delivery service will do this. Loomis should remember they are a small business working for bigger business and that business can go away with their negative attitude. Learn some customer service, don't sound like you hate your job on the phone.

I was expecting a knock on the door but after 2 failed deliveries and no knocks on the door, not even a pickup address for my parcel, I am giving Loomis "Express" a 1 star for lousy service. Not to mention how they tell me I can "reschedule the delivery" on their website... What a joke! I spent 20 minutes looking head to toe on their site for anything that even resembled "delivery rescheduling" and nothing! Then I call their customer service line, and after waiting an hour, I'm met with this sloth of an employee who hates his job and talks to me like I'm wasting HIS time. And it's only NOW after all this lunacy I get told WHERE my package is. You could have saved me all this time if you had just written down the pickup location ON this delivery attempt notice left at my front door instead of leaving it empty. This company is a joke! Never again. I'd rather pay the extra few bucks and get REAL service from LEGITIMATE shippers like UPS and Purolator. Do not reccomend Loomis "Express" to anybody. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

I have to come here quite regularly to pick up shipped medical supplies and its always a good experience. Even when they are unable to find it right away, I've been asked to wait, and within a short time someone always comes out with my package. Really friendly staff!

Using a low cost courier you should expect lower class service. Never had a problem with my regular deliveries/pick ups. Employees have even been especially useful when I have had to come to the depot to pick up an urgent package. They went out to the floor to find it for me and even helped carry it to the car!

Same experience here. Wasted 2 days sitting around waiting for a package but nobody shows. No attempt to buzz, no notice on the door, but the tracking says "Recipient refused delivery."

The Customer service just passes the buck. The first time, I was told that the driver had other deliveries and couldn't spend the time looking up my name. Apparently the service that was paid for was too inconvenient to provide, so he just didn't.

After they did the same thing for the second delivery "attempt," I was told I would have to go across town to pick it up myself. What's the point of paying for a delivery service when they don't actually deliver?

The supervisor wasn't very useful either, and passes the buck so well, he should try out for the NHL. Apparently, even though it was DHL Canada that screwed up, he couldn't take responsibility as it was an international shipment. DHL Hong Kong has to take responsibility even though it was drivers under HIS authority that screwed up. Useless waste of time.

This place is a scam. I ordered an item online and paid to have it shipped. It arrived from the states so I owed duty on it ($26!). However when I looked closer it turns out that I only owed $10 in taxes and duties but DHL had charged me $15 in "processing and transaction" fees. I called them and they said that they automatically tack on a $15 fee to pick up a package at customs and prepay the duties so that they can deliver the package to me. Be aware that this IS NOT a standard fee as they claim. This place is just trying to make a quick buck at the expense of their customers.
