We had Lyman’s landscaping remove sedum that had spread through our lawn. They arrived with several workers and with a bobcat. They used the bobcat to scrape away the affected lawn, however they did not hand scrape around a beautiful mature maple tree, using the bobcat instead which damaged the feeder roots of the tree. I was devastated, and I called to speak to our contractor after the work was done as well as the following spring when the tree showed signs of decline due to root damage. I left a detailed message but no one from Lyman’s called back. We had to pay to help remedy the tree’s damaged roots in desperation to save the tree which does not seem to be working as the grading around the tree was extensive. As a landscape contractor they should have known better, as a local business they should have gotten back to me. This spring our beautiful mature maple tree is barely holding on. I am so upset about this whole situation and the lack of professionalism both for the knowledge of working around trees and the company’s respect for its customers.

I want to update my review.

Ben from Lyman’s Landscaping personally got back to me and visited our property today. He was very professional and took full responsibility for the employee he has since let go since the grading of our property. He was so polite and professional and felt badly for the damage caused by his previous employee. Ben is going to take down the damaged tree and replace it with a new one. We couldn’t ask for more and appreciate his response to the matter.

Ben from Lyman proved to us that he is a professional who is responsible and cares about his landscaping projects and the reputation of his company. Thank you Ben.

I would recommend Lyman’s Landscaping for all your landscaping needs. Ben is knowledgeable, polite and professional. His company stands behind his projects which is all a customer could ask for, thus the change in my review.

Recently we contracted Lyman Landscaping to install for us a “living cedar fence” as well as adjacent cedar wood privacy fence.
In short, all has been executed to our request: just an excellent work done by this professional operation. On time, on budget, fine quality supplies and the main workman, Mike Thompson, was more than what we expected. His work was done with care of our backyard without leaving any residues, perfection.
