I have sent a lot of flowers over the years. I have had experiences that I would characterize as “reasonably ok” when I think back overall. Sending from a long (international/interprovincial) distance has been most often disappointing—because you really have to TRUST that the florist “gets it” and isn’t going to take advantage of the fact that you really have no control over the result. So when I ordered my sister’s birthday flowers from afar, I had my fingers crossed that M&J would at least prove to be a “reasonably ok” choice. I called and spoke with Lloyd (delightful!!) and I am beyond pleased to report that he came through! Not only did he get it right (the arrangement was STUNNING in its display and swift delivery) but the real test was how long this display would stay fresh and gorgeous. Again, M&J surpassed expectations! Clearly they use the freshest raw materials to make their arrangements—something that is quite rare in a world forever in pursuit of profit. I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but I am a strong believer in giving credit when it is due. I would strongly encourage anyone to use this florist WHEN IT REALLY MATTERS that you get it right—! In fact, you will be delighted—and so will anyone admiring the results. Thank you Lloyd for making my sister’s winter birthday a bright and beautiful (and lasting) celebration. I am now a committed customer! ❤️

Nothing but beautiful creations from Lloyd. He can make pretty much any vision you have come to life. For example, this beautiful spring bouquet was created by me saying "I like these flowers" and the end result is better than I could even envision. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Maple and Jack have been my go to florist for a number of events. The biggest has been my own wedding. Lloyd was a pleasure to deal with and listened to my brief and gave solid advice depending on season and availability. M and J provided us with four posies, eight button holes, table centre pieces, top table piece and a corsage for mother of the bride. Maple and Jack really actively listen to their clients and deliver with pride. 100 per cent would recommend.
