I was assisted today by a very helpful and knowledgeable young lady named Grace.
She not only came right over and helped me and 2 other parties nearby, but she was running around chasing the whole floor as well. None of us had picked up any merchandise yet, but in the 30 minutes I was there she helped me 3 times and 6 parties of customers all had merchandise in their hands. She likely moved $1200 in merchandise in half an hour. This young lady drives sales and is laser focused on her job. She has great potential and she understands the business. Excellent customer service skills.

Bad experience with a manager "grace" who wouldn't let me finish talking and interrupted my sentences. This issue was regarding a discount that originally wasn't applied. She did end up honoring the discount however made condescending statements such as "we can refund this and get you a boot you can afford" before she reluctantly gave me the discount.

Marks is a good store to shop at for work gear. I would like to see more women's workwear.
I want to caution about buying these Merrell work boot. I bought them a month before I needed them. Wore to break in then wore to work. Well two months in the side seam let loose and the front cracked. Of coarse I made it past the point of return, but for a boot to fall apart this soon after wearing is such a hit to the pocket book. I work a cushy 5 day a week job, 8to4 so heavy work wear was not the issue. Again not a complaint about Mark's it just happened to be the place I bought em and the only place I can find to add a review.
My next boot will be one with less seams to come apart.

Completely unhelpful service on the phone, heaven forbid you want to come exchange your shoes when they're not fitting right and they tell you no.. never going there again, big mistake!

Sold me pre-worn $280 Dunlops. Didn't figure it out until I got home. Takes close to an hour to drive there and back, guess they got me good. I'm wearing them, since I didn't buy them for the sake of looking at them. I have enough ethics not to return things I've used anyway. The response from corporate was the usual "sorry you feel that way, I guess if you wanted you could waste an hour and a half exchanging them so we can put them back on the shelf for the next guy, or whatever"

Its a nice store I've always had someone ask me if I needed anything. I usually say no. I've been there maybe 10 times. It's not amazing customer service but it's better then superstore.
