What an amazing experience!! We bought a really large item in Moncton and we’re going to go back from our home in Halifax to get it. We figured the price of gas and lugging a 200lb item might be easier to check with a courier. I heard great things about MBW but never needed to use a courier before.

I called for a quote and spoke to April. She was very helpful and patient since I didn’t have all the answers right off the top of my head, I don’t do these shipping things often. She was wonderful!

Today my order arrived, it came at 10 am so I didn’t waste my day waiting for it, Andy was really amazing! I wasn’t able to help him due to illness and he couldn’t have done enough to help. I see other companies that just drop the item in the driveway so I was a little stressed but he offered to bring it right in for me.

I will definitely be using this service again in the future!!!

Ordered medication to be picked up in Halifax. The bag was damaged but the driver was very apologetic..This morning the driver went out of his way to deliver a bottle of medicine that had fallen out of my bag yesterday! Excellent customer service from the driver! Thank you!!!!

MBW delivered a very expensive propane fire pit which we were told by the company that we bought it from, was to be inspected very carefully to check for any damage before accepting it. When I told the driver this, he said he wouldn’t allow me to do this and wanted me to sign the form accepting the delivery. He then called his dispatcher who was completely rude and said ‘my driver doesn’t have time’ for me to inspect the item and that I should send it back. She said I should call the freight line that they were hired by. I said why would I send it back? I told them I’m not signing for a $4600 fire pit if I’m not allowed to look it over. We were also told it would be delivered to the location where it was to be set up, but the driver said no, only to the door. I said screw it and looked it over and didn’t sign until I opened the box and checked it over- not as carefully as I would have liked. Terrible experience- thought I was going to get in a fight with the driver. I plan on calling the co and reporting the entire incident.
One final note. I called the company to speak with the manager about my experience, and she never called back- no big surprise.

Same Day Delivery is bonus deal and great rates. MBW is now currently owned by The Municipal Group, they still handle just about anything for freight for either pickup or delivery. They cover not only Nova Scotia, they now deliver to New Brunswick and expanding. Give their Dispatch a call for any questions you may have and the friendly staff are most helpful when you're looking for information whether it's items you need delivered or picked up. Fast & courteous service.

In my 2 dealings with this company i can say they are terrible. both times i called to get pricing on a shipment and they said "no, I cant help you". and thats it! no explanation or anything just a hard no.
terrible customer service. i do not recommend

Ordered a bumper cover for my van from a parts store in Truro, NS on the 24th of June. According to tracking it ended up in Blockhouse, NS on the 25th of June. Blockhouse is a half hour from it's final destination in New Germany, NS. As of July 4th, it still sits in Blockhouse. The parts store called MBW and no one answered or returned her calls. I was put on hold (by a machine) and no one answered. Left a message to which no one has responded. Worst courier service ever!!! We should have used Sure Courier.
