The service was exceptional, we were greeted upon arrival by a pleasant young host (I totally forget his name unfortunately but he is the youngest #minor brain) who was also our server. We had the shrimpin sirloin, salmon, chicken burger and grilled chicken breast meals and amazingly they were all wonderful 🤤. I am a food lover and i have no regrets or complaints for deciding on this steakhouse.

It was a milestone bday for me. My husband had made a reservation for 12 people. I had family visiting from out of province for this. The whole experience was very disappointing. Our table was being forgotten. Apparently they had a large group of twenty that had come in unexpectedly. They were short staffed. So our service was horrible. I felt bad for the two girls working. However even when one of our guest asked for ice and it didn’t come they were rude when he went up to get some himself. We asked for butter for our lobster, we had to ask a second time and it came when our meal was finished. Some of the food was good, a couple of the steaks were over cooked. It was a celebration and good luck on getting our drinks. We don’t go out for a meal often and this was to be a treat. The wait staff was over worked having to serve and do the drinks themselves. I know they were frustrated. I blame management. I feel some kind of compensation should have been offered to our table. The walk in table had more people so we were not a priority.

Horrendous service!
We had a large group wanting to order, I followed the steps of emailing the general manager and pre-ordering off their specific menu (7 options only) priced at $22.99 including a pop or water bottle. I had provided the restaurant 3 days' notice of our orders. When we arrived, the food was cold and bills were incorrect, they charged us for the pop & waters $5 each and also over charged on the food options they provided. When I brought this issue up to management was told they would provide a dessert or gift card (some bills were overcharged by $20). I requested that we need to be credited back the over charges and was told to call the General Manager, when trying to call, my calls were blocked and he wouldn't speak to me.
The manager working told us that she had "no idea we were even coming in".. Odd being that we had pre-ordered 40 meals for 4PM and specifically asked if the team could still sit in the restaurant to eat our meals.

On top of all that when our team arrived, they refused to serve us any drinks or appetizers while eating. All around the worst experience, considering all the steps ahead of time the team took to create an easy process for the restaurant.

Disappointing Service and Food Quality

Our experience at Mr. Mikes in Drayton Valley was frustrating. service throughout the meal was slow. We didn’t receive any drink refills, and I had to wait 15 minutes just to get Caesar dressing for my salad. When I finally got it, I found a chopped end of a pickle and a stray carrot slice in the salad, which was concerning. One of our group ordered a Bacon Mushroom Mike Burger, but it came without mushrooms. At first, they weren’t going to adjust the bill until we asked. They agreed to take the missing mushrooms and my Caesar salad off the bill, but when we got the check, only the mushrooms were removed not the salad. To top it off, the sirloin bites tasted old, which made the meal even more disappointing. Between the slow service, missing items, billing issues, and food quality concerns, it was not a great experience. Hopefully, they can improve their service and attention to detail because I will not be coming back for a bit. I wish I could say this is a one off but this is the third time I have gone and there have been issues.

I've ordered the same meal from many Mr. Mikes locations across Canada, it's always been DELISH 10/10. This location however left me incredibly disappointed and regretful - the meal was just so disappointing and flavorless, that's really all I have to say. It's already disappointing that Mr. Mikes in general reduced the portion size yet significantly increased the price but when it's good, it's still worth it. This location was not good, first experience there and likely the last as I won't be returning.

Ordered a 29$ smugglers cove chicken to go. Got home and not even one prawn or scallop. Very disappointing. I usually eat here once or twice a month. I've had some excellent meals and so so meals but I definitely won't be back after this.

I’ve been in town all week, the service and food all week was nothing short of amazing. Right before leaving one of the staff members came up and gave me a gift card from them truly made my night. I’ve had a rough year, but even tougher month.. They truly made my night .. if I’m ever back in Drayton I’ll be sure to be back .. truly amazing humans

Horrible management. Don’t make a reservation, you’re pushed aside if a crowd comes in. Short staffed and no management to pick up the slack. No repeat visit for us to this Mr Mikes!
