Great experience with Dr.Yin but really poor experiences with reception time and time again. Uninformed and poor communication, I called yesterday asking if I could get my prescription for my inhaler faxed to where I am as I’m on vacation and I’m having a hard time breathing. She said that dr yin was gone for the day and that the doctor could fax it over tomorrow. All of that is fine but how come she didn’t bother to tell me I still wouldn’t be able to get my prescription till after 3pm the next day because that’s when the doctor does the refills. I understand the circumstances but I feel I should’ve been informed that I would still have to wait most of the day before I would be able to pick up my inhaler, especially since I did let her know I was having a hard time breathing. I just wish reception was more considerate of their patients.

I had a wonderful experience today at Oasis Medical Clinic with my baby. The staff was welcoming and professional, making us feel comfortable right away. Dr. Aswad was exceptional—he took his time carefully examining my daughter and was very thorough in his approach. I truly appreciated his patience and attention to detail. It’s reassuring to know that we’re in such good hands. Highly recommend this clinic to any parent looking for quality care!

Negative review. Dr Yin is the most dismissive, rude and condescending doctor i have ever met. She would not listen to any of my concerns regarding my very sick 3 little kids, cuts me off and basically told me I wasted my time coming in, in her words..its just viral, they probably got 10 more diseases just coming here! (I'm no need to state this, do you think my first choice was coming here? It sure wasn't, but I was trying to be safe than sorry)

Also when questioning my mother on the reasoning she was there she replies to my mother.... i find that hard to believe, while rolling her eyes and sighing numerous times!!!

Among other rude remarks.....

I will not recommend seeing her.

Dr Yin, if you were not a doctor and just a mom of three very sick little kiddies, you would be doing your best as a mom to ensure everything is checked out. Don't dismiss a mom just because she is trying her best. And don't dismiss a senior because you think you're so educated that you know her body better than she does....

Have a great day!

I'm shocked at these reviews. Dr. Yin is not just an amazing doctor but she is also a really good person. She's extremely knowledgeable, understanding and resourceful. Not to mention, she is very professional. I've been going through extremely hard times and she has always been there to give me great advice with a great sense of humor to lighten things up. She took me in a a patient when she had no room and has helped my entire family with struggles stemming from addiction, child birth, chronic illnesses, and everything in between. I honestly wouldn't know where else to go or any one else I would trust.

We saw Dr Aswad (pediatrician) for an initial appointment today regarding a murmur. He was very warm, friendly and welcoming. He completed a thorough exam on my toddler and recommended a few tests to follow up. Front desk staff was very friendly as well.

If zero was an option, I would rate this clinic a zero. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with the clinic. I do not recommend this clinic. The only doctor that I don’t mind seeing from this clinic is Dr. Zamani, and unfortunately, he is always booked. Therefore, my daughter was seen by the other Dr. Yin in the clinic. Dr. Yin is not professional and, frankly, a horrible doctor. I can’t emphasize enough how disappointing it was to discover that she doesn’t care about her patients' needs. She was extremely rude and told my daughter that there was nothing wrong with her in a rude way. The way she treated my daughter was unacceptable. Dr. Yin is not a friendly doctor and doesn’t seem to have the energy to engage with her patients properly.

Also, their receptionists are rude as well. Once we called to come in and see our doctor for test results, the receptionist booked us 2 months in advance just to get our results. It’s ridiculous, and I suggest you find a different medical centre.

So glad I came here and saw I was not alone. Dismissive and uncaring is the order of the day for this dr. When I first started seeing her, she was pleasant. However, during the pandemic her care shifted to hostility. Eyerolls, dismissiveness and extremely poor care.
She is in the wrong career. I would hate it when I had to go there, whether for prescription renewal or side effects to medicine she prescribed. But the worse of the worse is her not contacting me with the results of lab work. I had to find out when I ended up in the hospital that year. Or at a specialists office a year later. Then my pharmacist questioned a drug she prescribed and the duration of it, the side effects matched a disability that had gotten worse because of it.
I felt like she was trying to frustrate me to quit.
I had been sourcing out a replacement for over a year, and was two steps away from quitting with her. I just needed some paperwork filled out regarding my disability. After 6 years as my doctor, she asked me who my GP was. I said "well you have been for the past 5 or 6 years". She said no she was not my GP and that I need to find one.....because she will be leaving soon. Wrong career for sure, trying to gaslight me. I decided to look up reviews. I was grateful that I was not alone. Dr Y, if you see this please find another suitable career.....
You are there to "care" for sick vulnerable people. If this is something that you cannot do professionally, change careers.
