Je donne cette note parce que je ne suis pas du tout contente du service de OSTA, je ne comprends pas comment est ce qu'ils peuvent annuler la route pendant plusieurs jours, c'est fou.
Je ne peux meme pas ramener mes 2 gamins et revenir travailler a l'heure, avec le OC transpo qui n'est pas toujours a l'heure
OSTA annule sans aucune explications.

I have 3 kids in elementary school. And two are walking. I am trying for bus for last 2 years. As per the map we common people use my house is 1.8 km away from school. For OSTA it is less than1.6 KM, not sure what sophisticated map OSTA is using. It’s frustrating. There empty seat program is always empty for more than 3 years now. No use at all. Very disappointing.

Drivers are abysmal!! We are on our 8th driver this year. His driver today was 35 min late, again. Some days he’s here on time, most days he’s not. Even dispatch knew who I was calling about before even giving any info/name/address. The driver told dispatch he was in my driveway…I was standing outside and he was definitely not there. He showed up 5 min later waving his hands when I told him I was upset and questioned his reasoning as to why he’s always late. He proceeded to tell me that he is doing my job for me, and if I don’t like it, I can drive my child myself ?. He then proceeded to say hateful things about me to my child.

I AM IRATE!! Disgusting behaviour. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

It is astonishing how little skill and common sense the majority of these drivers have. They hit pedestrians, use their phone while driving with children in the back seat and park on sidewalks or on the street illegally. It's almost as if they canvas for the worst drivers in Ottawa and then hire them. It is by the grace of God alone that more children aren't harmed by these negligent drivers. Here is one example of a driver parked on the sidewalk. When asked to move so students could walk safely down Merivale, he became belligerent and mocked me.

Had a very nice experience on the phone today with OSTA. Was very confused about how change my son's bus after switching school zones. The OSTA team was able to help me quickly and efficiently!

These drivers deserve 0 stars. The fact that the majority of their driving is done in residential and school zones and they still drive at the speeds they do is astonishing. When will these companies hold their drivers to a higher standard? After a kid they’re picking up or dropping off gets injured/killed? Not to mention the condition these vehicles are in on the road. Missing windshields, bumpers, etc. absolutely pathetic display of professionalism. Would never use or recommend their service.

OTSA needs to step it up. The consistent last minute bus cancellations is so unacceptable. Very poor communication leaves our family leaving work after just arriving to come back home to grab our kids who’ve been stranded at the bus stop due to no communication about bus cancellations. Recently, OTSA sent an email at 7:30am advising that buses are running, only to see on their website later on that the busses ended up being cancelled. Busses are always cancelled when there is a minimal snow fall. Reading the reviews it seems OTSA has caused many parents and students quite an inconvenience & has a lack of care for student safety. Due to the last minute bus cancelations, our kids were once stranded at the bus stop for 45 minutes in -15 as we leave for work when they leave for the bus. The bus never came and we never got an email. I hope parents can come together to take further action if OTSA doesn’t find a way to find drivers, compensate them better and train them better. This is absolutely pathetic.

Lack of communication. Terrible service in the most part. I understand they have a tough job and budget.... learn from Quebec....?!? Learn from cities who do it well!?!.!!
