très belle balade en bateau nous avons beaucoup apprécié, il y a moins de monde en semaine priorisé le devant du bateau ou le deuxième étage pour avoir une belle vue 😉

Super ❤️ mais prévoir 2-3 h d'avance et laisser l'auto la.. en attendant le ferry aller vous promener ..on est arrivé 1 h d avance pour celle de 3:40 avec ma réservation et cetai dejas full personne parle français donc on n'avait compris a moitié faut croire ya fallu attendre le prochain a 8 h et ils ont réouvert les barrières pour aller Parker l'auto a 4:00 environ donc on était la 4 h d'avance cette fois.

They take no hostages, DO NOT be late for your reservation. The scolding I got from the check in person and the terror that we might not be allowed on the boat completely destroyed my ability to enjoy the rest of my day. We were 6 minutes late for check in due to construction and Google being wrong about the drive times. I was sick to my stomach as missing this ferry meant our entire vacation itinerary could be ruined. We did get on the ferry, but my day had already been ruined by the scare. All she had to say was "we don't have to board you because you were late BUT there happens to be room today". No need to completely screw with my head.

Once on the boat things were fine. The cafeteria had really good food and you can get beer and wine there.

Took the ferry from Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula CA to South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island. Vehicle loading was extremely efficient. We then had breakfast, which was very good at a very reasonable price and great views from the top deck. The one-way trip was approximately two hours and well worth it. I highly recommend this trip.

I did not have a good experience with this ferry. They parked our SUV in the lane for small cars. This gave me approximately 8 inches to get out the passenger door of our vehicle while pushing my door against the wall of the ship. I didn't feel like damaging my door or myself and climbing out any other way wasn't an option since out vehicle was full of camping gear from our trip. Meanwhile we could see all the other SUV's parked to the left of us with lots of room to get out on both sides. Spending 2.25 hours in our vehicle trying not to feel sea sick wasn't fun especially after paying $73 for the experience. Regardless we made it safely to South Baymouth and enjoyed the rest of our holidays.

I had loved riding the Chi Cheemaun since I was a kid in the '70s. The ability for some relaxation and the peace & quiet from what otherwise would be 400 series highway traffic( or close to) is (for me) a breath if fresh air.
