I'd give these charlatans five stars for delivering a bike from the Midlands to South London within a day but I'm giving them 1 star.

On the morning then bike was due to be delivered, they emailed me to say that the bike box was 2cm too long and because of that, I needed to pay them an additional £20 else they'd keep the bike delivery on hold.

I emailed them back to say it wasn't as I'd measured it myself. They replied that no, it was oversized and it was being kept by them until I paid the surcharge.

Checked the tracking to see that it still appeared to be out for delivery so decided not to pay, waited and eventually got a notification of delivery.

A quick look at other reviews and it appears that this is common behaviour from these scammers. Avoid.

What a great service for sending a bicycle. Ordered a box and packaging, all worked perfectly. Booked the delivery service for pick up one day later. All couriers were really friendly and the parcel was delivered the next day. Brilliant!

Used twice now for sending mountain bikes. Service on both occasions have been exceptionally quick. Next day delivery from Scotland to England, one within 24 hours.

Booking and collection were easy and simple - collection turned up bang on time, so was initially very happy.

The parcel (a bike) which was very carefully packaged based on their packaging guidelines then disappeared with no updates for the entire weekend.

I received a demand for more money on the Monday as the package was oversize and would not be delivered unless I paid a further 50%.

No evidence was given, and the package had been carefully measured before sending. Paisley said it was there handlers and nothing they could do about it.

There is no contact number on their site so u have to use email.

Had to pay so the person expecting the package actually gets it. Feels like extortion.

Paisley will of course blame the handler (ADP) - However there is no mention of use of 3rd parties when u book.

Hasn't yet been delivered so cant confirm it arrived in good shape.

Avoid!! Collection from my house, caught on the camera doorbell throwing my fragile packages into the van with zero care or respect, arrived severely damaged at the other end. Filed an official complaint with the video evidence and they did not care or compensate for the damage. The worst customer service, would definitely not use again or recommend.

I would give no stars if I could. This is THE worst delivery service ever! Booked a bike which didn’t state box size so got extra charged for that at 20% extra. Poor tracking information. Failed first collection where driver didn’t see garage open with parcel in and didn’t knock on door. Tried to charge me for that. Was supposed to be next day but they took 2 extra days. When they delivered the parcel they left box flat on its side. The second driver had such a poor attitude and was rude. AVOID!!!

I used Paisley Freight to get a bike I had purchased delivered from Plymouth to Kent. Everything was perfect!! The packaging they supplied was good. Communication was good. Bike was delivered safety and on time. I would recommend.

I used Paisley Freight years ago & they were always great and the costs of transporting alloys & tyres was very reasonable..

Used them again this week, despite seeing numerous negative reviews here on Google etc.
All I can say is the service was Simple & Tremendously efficient - with ZERO issues whatsoever. No damage at all on each of the single wheel & tyre packages transported & received..
Subsequently, due in part - to the way items are packaged up - this may be potentially the prior users failures.

I will use the again and equally, I highly recommended Paisley Freights sevices..
