If I could do less I would. The management is slacking and doesn’t really take control of employees. Doesn’t act like the boss. When asked what they wanted to have done it became my choice. All vehicles were barely road worthy which they were aware of.

Woke up one day to a termination text message (so unprofessional) and had stuff stolen from my parking lot. (Yes was in a company van but doesn’t excuse the fact). Forced to waste my own gas going to get it from the OPP.

THEN a month later the cutoff for tax filing for employers comes and and goes. Guess fired employees don’t matter still waiting for t4 while other still employed employees already have theirs. So if I may say VERY BAD MANAGEMENT/OWNERSHIP!!!

These 4 and 5 star reviews are all correct. They really do go above and beyond for their clients. Especially Heather, the owner. Can't say enough good things about her!
I was expecting a package as a Christmas present for my 2 year old and I shipped through fed ex ground service. Paid a small fortune extra to make sure it arrived before Christmas.
The day before Christmas Eve the status of my package says it would be delivered that day. Only the package never came and the status never updated. So after a horrible phone call with Fed ex, who said it was dropped off to the third party shipper, I called peninsula parcel service, where my package was dropped off to.
Just before close at 5pm I spoke with Heather the owner and explained my situation. I was frustrated, but not with them, however my attitude would have come across as such. After explaining what was happening Heather told me she was going to Owen Sound the next day to finish her Christmas shopping. She said she would stop by her bin and grab my package for me then I could pick it up in Lion's Head, just in time for Christmas.
This was a Sunday. Her business was closed. She was on her own personal time and would essentially deliver me my package outside of working hours. This was very generous of her.
She called me late in the afternoon and explained that for some unforseen circumstance she could not get to her bin that time, but that she was coming back through that way later and would try again. She told me she would text me the next day if she had my package.
The text came with great news. That she was able to grab my package and I could come pick it up. She gave me the address to her own house. I went and my package was waiting for me on her fro t step. She greeted me at the door and after a little casual conversation she wished me a Merry Christmas and I departed with my package just in time for the holidays.
Let's be clear...this was fed exs mistake that Peninsula Parcel cleaned up for them. I would highly recommend anyone on the Bruce who needs to ship something local, use them. It's the kind of business relationship I and anyone else wants. They definitely go above and beyond for their clients like most of the reviews also state.
I'm doing all my local shipping through them now. I have business accounts with all the major carriers and I never even considered Peninsula Parcel an option before, it was always fed ex, ups, Purolator. But after the treatment I got it's time I change my ways. Why not give a business who runs on morals and just a neighborly attitude towards their clients the treatment THEY deserve.
There are not enough accolades I could give this business but to Heather and her team at Peninsula Parcel I say well done. You deserve a great review and more.
Thank you again Heather for treating me as more than just a client, for understanding my situation, and for cleaning up a mistake that she had no part in creating.

I can't say enough about the excellent way Peninsula Parcel responded helpfully to my need for a pick-up and delivery of an item that needed to go to Owen Sound for repair. Heather literally went the proverbial 'extra mile' to accommodate, and did so in a sincerely, good old-fashioned neighborly way. And that's what I call service.
