80% of the time we have booked a grooming appointment weeks in advance and get canceled on the morning of just before we would be dropping our dog off. We then have to reschedule for weeks in advance again which is a huge inconvenience when you are trying to get grooming done around an event. The staff are really sweet when we are able to go and the grooming is about what you’d expect from the pet store for that price however, I don’t feel they always actually complete the service like nail trimming, ear cleaning extra.

Worst place for fish in town. Walked in and there's 10-20 dead fish sitting in just one fish tank. I mentioned it to the staff, and they said "yeah thats normal" no sorry that's not normal. That's extremely unsanitary and unhealthy for the other fish, would you want to be left in a room with a dead body for hours? I doubt it, I'm tired of these "petstores" selling animals and fish at the literal bare minimum for animal care. Literally no educated fish hobbyist is going to accept that, I walk in and see that I'm right out the door. Doesn't matter what store. To busy selling merchandise and money grubbing build better policy on their animals. Low quality means low quality health of the animals.

Got to total pet at 6:35pm was waiting for service. Went out to the front for service and was told actually were closed now. They never checked to see if anyone was in the store. We got told oh sorry my till was just closed. Well actually while people are in your store the till should be open, until everyone is cleared out.

The fish don't look healthy at all. The one fish tank had a bunch of dead fish floating around at the bottom. All fish were at various stages of decay and rot, so it's not like the tank just cycled, and they suddenly died. These fish have clearly been dead for days. If they're not going to take care of them properly, then STOP SELLING THEM. The goldfish tanks were absolutely overrun. I realize they're disposable, cheap fish, but there shouldn't be 100 of them in 1 small tank. They also need to hire AT LEAST ONE knowledgeable person for each section. At least have ONE employee who knows about fish, tanks, cycling, nitrates, nitrites, etc., at the back. The staff are typically always friendly, especially the cashiers (for the most part), but they need more consistent and knowledgeable staff for the fish area, or don't sell them.

I'm always greeted with a smile and a kind hello!! Super informative staff on all pets and products they always have a helpful hint or two to help me and Always a great conversation too!! And the hours are great too!! Parking is always close as I'm a senior so walking far is an issue.. thks Pet Smart you are my favorite place to shop!!
