After trying to deal with FedEx for our office courier needs (complete nightmare) we found Phantom and what a pleasant relief- they are reasonably priced, efficient, and their interface is easy to use. The few times I called them they were courteous and professional- I highly recommend them!

We had a rush early morning order, and I rarely book couriers. I had trouble figuring out their scheduling system, got very flustered, cancelled the order, and complained to someone over email. Mark, who turns out to be the Owner, was very friendly over email and even sent me a follow up hand-written card apologizing for any miscommunication! 🙂 It's a lovely traditional touch, rare to find nowadays in customer service.

In general I find same-day couriers without an account, very overly complicated. But with this experience, I will definitely use and recommend Phantom to others! They're surely super busy, yet found the time to follow up personally with one client! 🙂

Zero star if I could. I don't know what I did to deserve treatment like this here.

I have a contract with a virtual mailbox provider, and apparently their local vendor is here (which I didn't know before)

So I scheduled a mail pickup for 9/30 for an important document. It's a holiday but since I could schedule it online, I assumed they would be open that day. Ofc when I arrived there they were not open. I called all the numbers they listed, send emails, and left voice message. When they got back to me they told me the virtual mailbox is a US based company and they don't know about Canada holidays, that's why I could schedule pick up on a day they were not open. Fine, was I frustrated? Yes. Can they do anything about it? No. I was told they open at 8am the second day, so I guess I'll pick it up then. I tried my best to hold back my frustration and still tried to convince myself that none of us did anything wrong.

When I arrived at their store 7:30am the second day, I found them open. I thought what a surprise! I might be able to get it earlier than I thought. However when I walked in I was told the virtual mailbox guy would start at 9am, and I have to wait for him to come. Then why tell me you open at 8 when you already know I'm here for the virtual mailbox Fine, sure, I guess I'll have to wait. I sat across the street for another hour for the right guy to come. When I finally picked up my document, I was told "maybe you should've shipped it to your home address". Dude if I have a choice, why would I ship it anywhere else? Why would I even get a virtual mailbox

Two days later, another mail arrived here. I thought since even scheduling beforehand didn't guarantee I can get my mail, why should I do it this time? Also my virtual mailbox says it's better to schedule but walk in is also ok.

When I was asked about scheduling a pickup, I said no. Then I immediately got yelled at:" how do you think I can do it without a pick up scheduled!" Ok, sure, I can schedule it right now no problem, but why do you have to yell at me? Can you just ask me to do it like two normal strangers would do, politely? Also since I can schedule it right now, why make such a fuss about it? I continued to explain that my virtual mailbox told me it's ok to walk in. He sneered and said "I don't know how you assume it could work". How would I know it won't work Did I pay you and my virtual mailbox to figure out how you two work together?

Also I forgot to mention, I pay 1 USD for each pick up. So yes I'm literally paying people to yell at me.

I chose the virtual mailbox hence this vendor because of good reviews on reddit. Am I a outlier? I don't know, but I'm sure I don't want to have anything to do with them anymore.

Edit: I was treated like crap at this location so yes this is where the comment should be.
