I made a complaint about a situation with parking being taken up by movers. It took the by law officer 2-3 weeks to deal with my complaint right after the movers got their permit. I’m now hearing that the bylaw officer is harassing people about where they are parked multiple times a day. I have not met the by law officer but I hope she learns to keep her personal feelings out of her job and maybe prioritize her job a little better. As working citizen of Port Alberni it angers me that the bylaw officer can’t do her job properly and maybe the city should consider hiring a different one.

Bylaw in port alberni would rather hassle and push around people in rvs then deal with the public intoxication and drug use in front of virtually every store in this town while saying I have better things to do than tell rvers to keep moving and still neglects to deal with the public’ drug use and intoxication that’s everywhere kids don’t need to see that

The bylaw enforcer is a power tripping lieing POS. He uses intimidation and threats to get what he wants. He also say "what he says goes" and according to bylaw you cannot use your yard for storrage, as Tim says it you arent allowed anything in your yard. So I guess basically every yard in town is in violation.
