The gentleman I have been dealing with at PostNet has been absolutely AMAZING. Through no fault of his own, there was a mix up with my package, and this gentleman went out of his way to track down my package and get it back for me. I'm so incredibly thankful.
It's so rare these days to have a company that puts in the extra effort and really keeps their word. I will be recommending PostNet to anyone and everyone I know.

I had an awful and incredibly hostile experience as the owner basically followed me out of the store swearing and screaming at me after I told him I would post this review. I was genuinely concerned for my safety due to this interaction and I will be filing a police complaint against the owner.

Background


Initially visited on December 19, 2024 (confirmed this time from my call history) at 9:00 am to pick up a Purolator shipment, called their business line, but no answer. There were 2-3 other people outside who attempted to enter the store but had no luck as the door was locked. I concluded the store was closed and after 10 minutes I decided to leave.

This morning, on my way to work I decided to attempt to pick up the item once again as didn’t have any other opportunity to due to holidays/vacation.

The owner told me the shipment had been “returned to sender, after he held the item for 2 weeks” (apparently 5 business days longer than usual) and instructed me to call Purolator to ask for a status update. I, then stated that I had been in previously (but at the time could not pinpoint the exact date).

He insisted that after “15 years of being in business, he had never opened late once” therefore my recollection was flawed.

I, once, again explained I was at the store but it was closed. That I’ve called their number but there was no answer. Finally, I repeated that other clients were leaving the store as I approached and urged him to check his cameras for proof.

He told me “this is bullshit” and continued to explain he had “never opened late once.”

He was behind the counter when I informed him I would be leaving this Google Review.

He continued to follow me to my car, which was parked right outside, and he held the door open with his body weight whilst continuing to scream various profanities at me (mind you this was first thing in the morning, around 9:10-9:15am).

My partner, also concerned for my safety asked what was going on and why the old man was screaming and swearing as I drove off.

It is unfortunate that any future missed shipments for our business will continue to be shipped here. I no longer feel safe returning to this location alone and will ensure someone else is assisting me going forward.

This behaviour by a business owner/staff by any standards is extremely unprofessional, hostile, aggressive and borderline harassment. Is this how you treat minority clients?

I just went in to return a package and the gentleman who works there and the lady were so friendly and helpful. Joking with me and offering to help me out. So nice to see a locally owned place that is doing well and is actually friendly! Will be using this place from now on!!! Thank you.

Would not recommend, I received an email showing my parcel was ready for pick up here. When I showed them the email saying this, they didn’t scan it or know where to look for the tracking device. I believe there was a code that could have been scanned but instead they asked if it was fedex or purolator. I don’t know why I would need to tell them that when I had the confirmation email open. She then told me that she didn’t see my name so it must not be there, to come back Monday. When I kept asking why I had received notice to pick it up, they looked around a bit more and turns out it was there the whole time. Annoyed at the lack of effort and if I would have had to come back

True to Purolator form, their driver did not leave a notice of delivery on the building door as they have failed to do countless times in the past. Given the time of year, December 5, and the ongoing postal strike, express parcel pick-up locations are inundated with parcels. In light of not having a notice in hand when collecting my parcel, I had no tracking number. The staff at PostNet were courteous enough to go to the back and sift through hundreds of parcel in order to locate my parcel. Definitely willing to go the extra mile. Thank you.

I've had horrible experiences at previous DHL service locations. This was this first location where I felt like I received great customer service. I was helped by Nasser, who provided phenomenal customer service for a tricky package I had to deliver in a timely manner to a foreign country. Thank you to Nasser and the rest of the team for getting the package down to where it needs to be.

The manager here needs to get a life. I felt as if I was discarded and he didn’t care about helping me out because I wasn’t Persian. I’ve been to this office many times but I’ve noticed that he’s treated his Persian customers much better than my own experiences. It feels very discriminatory and disrespectful because he was
very inconsiderate this particular day. what’s the point of owning a post office business if you refuse to provide basic service.

I find it difficult to believe that I had such a frustrating experience here. Not only did I wait a long time, but the person that helped me seemed extremely disinterested in doing so - it was clear my time wasn't cared for. I was given snarky replies to my questions and made to feel like I was being an inconvenience just by being there. Go elsewhere if you value your time and sanity. Unreal.
