I had a strange experience with one of the drivers, Hans Niermann. I was driving on Highway 97 in HOV lane and tried to merge in where the lane ends. The guy closed the gap and crashed into my side. When I asked him why did he not let me merge in, he started screaming at me that I tried to cut him off. And told me: 'It doesn't matter any way as I have no fault insurance'.
Is that a company policy that a truck driver with 45 FT set up can drive and do whatever he wants, because he is not going to be responsible for it? That's a strangest attitude from the professional driver I've ever heard.
Please provide your drivers with some anger management training, as road rage doesn't belong behind the wheel of the large truck set up.

I would suggest using another company as they allow reckless drivers and do nothing about them when the attempt murder with a 70,000 pound vehicle.

Driver almost hit me with his trailer merging into my lane. Then flipped me off like it was my fault he didn’t look before changing lanes. Truck #541

Very dangerous drivers work here. They drive dangerous speeds close to 100km in a 50km zone residential area. We also have a school bus drop off and they blast their horn at the kids crossing to slow. Right now with a bit of fresh snow that fell and Pro-ex transportation drivers refuse to chain up and endanger my community as they slide backwards fully loaded into other vehicles. If that driver had just put chains on before leaving the warehouse this morning no one would have been put in dangerous conditions.

I was driving back from work on the highway 167S bound driving 65mph in the middle lane out of three at 1:15am from the seatac airport who took federal way exit was driving very close behind me and flashed me with his light in a semi truck. It’s not busy on the highway and I’m not going slow the speed limit is 60. He was on my tail for awhile till he realized I’m not moving because he flashed his bright lights at me on an empty highway. He decides to try and pass me when he realizes I was recording him the whole time then he suddenly started slowing down. I was able to screen shot the video to see the name of the company and the drivers face. My family has been through a few accidents involving a semi to the point where I do not like passing them or being next to them. These drivers need to understand that they are in a huge vehicle that can kill those around them and with him flashing his bright lights that blind me in those moments are dangerous especially when it’s dark out!

Care very little about safety. Still have not been paid by them. Not worth working for. If using as a carrier, there are much better options.

This company also contracts out loads to Shiva Transportation LTD in Calgary, AB. The owner of that company, Shiva Prakash, has still yet to pay from work completed in January. Work po's completed- 053524, 053184, 053466, 053617, 054328, 054206, 054359, 054850.

Obviously, they cant be bothered to follow up with who they do business with. People like Shiva are giving the industry and this company a bad name, but its also this company that refused to have their trailer tires repaired. Its only when you quit due to safety reasons that they will do something.. for me at that point.. its too late.

Everything i have from both these companies has been filed with the federal labour board. Be wary working for; shiva, proex and any other contractor who takes loads from proex.

Think long and hard before joining this carrier. The owner is unavailable for help of any kind, he set his business up on autopilot and leaves the country. The office lacks signing authority.

I had a cracked windshield in one of their company trucks, after a while of contacting them to do it, they explained that when it came to the point of the FMCSA giving me a notice to replace it, they would deal with it at that point. I drove multiple company trucks but did not see any maintenance at all done to the power units I drove. Congratulations, Pro Ex. Some of Pro Ex’s clients need to be told that you are not going to be their yard dog as well. As owner operator, do not get any work done by the shop in Calgary, most expensive truck shop Ive been to

They have lots of dispatchers in there and have their own dispatcher-owned trucks with drivers so you will get the worst loads after them. One dispatcher works remotely and prides himself on what he has as a customer, then gets mad, lies and tells you to wait because its apparently all your fault. Hey, I’m just telling my experience. Dispatch will make you sit in Calgary all day. Calling them annoys the office people, they can’t be bothered with a 2 minute phone conversation. Tell this carrier exactly how you need your insurance because they lack a proper understanding of an asset. They have multiple yards and zero company mechanics. Don’t expect maintenance to be done unless your willing to take a cab back after dropping their power unit off. You can get time off as you wish. HR gives excuses when asking for what you require. Make your own decisions, fire Pro Ex instead. Hope this has been informative to somebody.

Run flatdeck, baby. Don’t work for big carriers, own your own Pete instead. Your doing the work anyway, get paid good for it.
