My senior parents have lived across 4 provinces in their 7+ decades of life. We've visited a few medical facilities over that time, some as patients, some as care givers, some as family. Through all those facilities (with the exception of a few great staff upon a few occasions), we've never experienced the consistent kindness, knowledge, patience, and more that has been exhibited in every ward at every hour across the past near week of my mother's first stay here at the Rimbey hospital. Her room, at at the corner of the nurses' desk, has allowed us to witness emergency care, long term care, everything in between. Incredible! Without cease!
The only reason it's a 4 star review versus 5 is the food is tricky when a hospital is trying to serve so many dietary needs not just across the expanse of patients but each individual patient. My own mother, for instance, had 2 dietary specific complications before she was even admitted. The reason she was admitted created a 3rd dietary restriction. A 4th complication developed while in there (patient based, not hospital sourced, tbc) that created a 4th. I can't imagine being a provincially funded hospitality service on the food side and having to accommodate numbers, nutrition, restrictions, economy, environment, and food waste all at once. Hats off for trying. One day, someone will come up with a brilliant AND tasty solution that our government approves of. Meantime, A for effort trying to create something palatable to the sick or injured.

I am senior who lives in the Benalto area. Had to call to be take to Rimbey. I found the care of the nursing of the utmost care, and is truly at your beck call 24/7 The meals are great and tasty. This Hospital smells fresh clean fresh without the terrible smell of other hospitals. I am very glad to have been transported here. ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOSPITAL SHOULD COME HERE. THANKS TO THE NURSING STAFF, GOD BLESS

I must say if I could give them higher stars I would the staff was fantastic and the treatment was fairly quick the doctors were very professional and amazing must say I was fighting this infection and I went to red deer hospital and I sat there for 9 hours with no treatment so we decided that when it was getting worst I was brought here in Rimbey witching minute nurse came in and got me settled in and witching 20-25min the doctor came in and 15 min after blood work over all amazing staff super nice and one of the nurses went out of her way to get my young daughter a big freeze witch is crazy I’ve never since such good hearted people !!!!!!

After 2 trips to SLAAC (both Dr's diagnosed my son with pneumonia), he still wasn't getting better. Took him to Rimbey hospital and without doing bloodwork or chest xrays, they said he was fine and diagnosed his issues as Asthma and GERD. They never said this to me. He's already diagnosed with GERD

From the beginning of my health crisis to me, being able to go home the staff here was amazing!! By staff, I mean everyone who works at the hospital, from my doctor to the nurses and the therapist, the housekeepers, and the kitchen staff. They all quickly became my second family, and I couldn't have done all this without you. 💚

Unfortunately Dr. Nagase was too good for AHS by showing how real "health" care SHOULD look like!
This HERO Doc saved patients lives by going against AHS's "DEADLY" Covid treatment policy! ...Justice will come and the TRUTH will come out, but it will be too late for a lot of other patients they kill to keep the narrative going!
(btw ....the so called new variant is to COVER-UP the deadly Gen Therapy injections side effects!)
The 5 Stars are for the Hero ONLY! AHS lost all theirs...
