Jesse, Gabriel, and Joseph were great. Got my corporate move done in great time. Final fee came out a little UNDER the estimate despite my adding things last minute! Everything arrived in exactly the condition it left in--including lots of breakables which they beautifully packed. They managed very tight stairwells without scratching a thing--furniture or walls. They managed to park in tiny spaces. Would definitely recommend.

The team from Riverbend Moving and Storage was absolutely outstanding. They handled my furniture with care, packed everything securely, and made sure nothing was damaged in transit. What impressed me most was their friendly attitude and constant communication. Moving can be stressful, but they truly made it easy.

I had a very frustrating experience with Riverbend Movers during my recent move in Winnipeg. The initial estimate was around $4,000, but I was shocked to receive a final bill of nearly $7,000—almost double the original quote, with no clear explanation for the increase.

To make matters worse, several boxes were missing, including ones containing food, kitchen accessories, and all of my wife's dressing. One of the legs from my couch was also lost in the process, which has made it unusable.

The move to my new house was scheduled for the morning, but the crew didn’t show up until the afternoon, causing unnecessary stress and delays in settling in.

I expected a professional and reliable service, but unfortunately, this experience was far from it. I hope others take caution when considering this company.

Absolutely terrible experience with Riverbend Movers. I was given scheduled times for my move, and not only did the movers not show up, but I had to pay two people to sit and wait for hours based on those times. Communication between the office and the movers was a complete disaster, and when I raised my concerns, the owner (Wayne) was rude, dismissive, and took no accountability whatsoever.

The only helpful part of this entire experience was the dispatcher and the person handling the phone—professional and kind, unlike the rest of the company. I will never use Riverbend again and strongly recommend others look elsewhere. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

UDO, Harry, and Tony were pleasant to deal with helping my parents move is no easy task for me. I felt instantly at ease after help facilitating the past year with my folks that have not moved in Forty Years. Overall, these three gentleman were unphased meaning they took direction extremely well, diligent , clear lines of communication between each other , my parents, and I of where to handle products, boxes; loading; and unloading being extremely careful along with alleviating stress amongst the three of us because we are brand new to moving companies , and I extremely am grateful and blessed that my parents hired these three individuals that represented this company extremely well. 5/5. If it was my rating system it would be a ten star. So, here is what is going to happen. You are going to call Riverbend Moving and Storage and tell em Derek Sent sent ya!

Im very disappointed in the price I paid after the initial estimate, they included many hidden fees without notifying me. The movers spent the majority of the move complaining and a lack of enthusiasm. They also emptied our filing cabinet and mixed up all of our papers without asking. Another issue is that they did not use roll out mats when moving into my new home and scratched the hardwood and made a mess with their boots.
If you hired this company expect the workers to be late,complaints about how heavy everything is and using coarse language.
Expect to pay 50% more of your initial estimate

It has taken me some time to decide to post this review but I feel others should be aware!! I wouldn’t even give this one star but that is the lowest I can go!!!

Last year June 2024, Riverbend Movers came to my home, helped pack my stuff and move it all into one of their storage units.

EVERYTHING I worked for (I am a single Mom of three) was in that unit for a year. I checked on it periodically however, when I came back in June to get my belongings, there had been a water leak that I was never informed of and it ruined boxes of clothes, papers, a bin of holiday decorations, a camping cot from cabellas (the clothes and cot were still damp/wet and starting to get mouldy) (they did refund an amount for those items but not what it was all worth).

I had a two door pantry and the two shelves from that are missing. I had a bookshelf that was broken (that had to be thrown out), I had a second bookshelf and the two shelves are missing from that. I had two 52 inch tvs that were boxed up, however, they are both missing their remotes, the cords that were plugged into them as well as the two stands and screws for both of the tvs. I am missing full boxes of clothing, boxes of baking items, a box of my Lagostina pots and lids, my baking sheets and frying pans, the list just goes on.

I was treated with disrespect, laughed at to my face, rolled their eyes at me, they were completely unprofessional with me stating they wouldn’t deal with “someone like me” (I wasn’t a paying customer in their eyes) due to the fact Jordan’s Principle had helped get my belongings in there but did not inform me they had stopped paying nor did Riverbend Movers. I was left in the dark. My bill was paid off within a week and a half of finding out it had not been paid and I was able to get my stuff. They threatened to auction my unit off along with 7 other units Jordan’s Principle had not paid. I sure hope someone made contact with those other people for their units to let them know what was going on.

But the damage they did to my stuff, the amount of items that are missing and the way I was treated was absolutely disgusting.

They have already accused someone of saying their review was fake even though that individual was the person who helped me get my belongings out of their storage unit and saw first hand. So don’t accuse me of saying this is a fake review or a lie, this is all 100% the truth and I have made nothing up. I have photos, videos, proof of payment and refund as well as emails.

Also, while the movers were in my home packing and loading my belongings into the truck, I witnessed one of their movers pocket change he found lying on the counter and that fell out of the couch. Then he picked up a loonie, put it in his pocket, turned around and realized I was standing there watching him so he gave it back to me. Again unprofessional with a complete disregard for having respect for the person they are helping!

Be professional, hire trustworthy movers and just be honest. How hard is that to do?

Extremely professional, on-time, careful and expert movers. Highly recommend! They were able to help at the last minute when the movers I hired let us down.
