We stayed here over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. Check in was easy, room was clean and it had a priceless view of the river. It was close to all the attractions in the area as well.
Saturday evening we had a small issue with our BBQ so I called the office and within 3 minutes they where there and had me fixed up.

Highly recommend Staying with these guys if you are in the area

We loved our stay at Roseway River Cottage. The place is super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed — the kitchen was especially well set up.

The fire pit and BBQ were perfect for evenings outside, and the hammock by the river was such a nice touch.

It’s a great spot for a family getaway or just to chill out if you're in the area.

Really quiet, peaceful, and pet friendly too — which was a big plus for us!

The cottage was comfortable enough though the kitchen counter space was not big enough; I suggest a small cart on whells that could double as a place to put things by the door when coming or going.||The setting is jvery quiet and there's a lovely view and the TV selections were great. I thought the bathtub was a bit slippery abd would have liked a shower hose and grab bar, but I managed.||The only problem here is the owner's attitude. He is abrupt, verging on rude and VERY defensive. This is not optimal when dealing with the publlic. Since he is not mlikely to change his personality, perhaps he could let other staff handle guest interactions.

I have stayed at Roseway on multipule occasions from work placing me here. I have been in every cottage and in the guesthouse. I can say that this place deserves 5 stars. Every cottage is always cleaned better than any other place I've stayed. They have a kitchen with everything you need to make a good meal. Good little living area with a pretty decent T.V. if it's a rainy day and your staying in. It's set in a prime location with trees all around, hammocks, chairs, fire pits and the river running right by. Quick access to town and the highway but couldn't tell from the lovely sound of the water. I'd definitely enjoy a weekend here outside of work.

So, our first time there and I’ll first say, beautiful spot. The cottage #5 was clean and comfortable. Full size stove, fridge, coffee maker and Keurig, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots and utensils plus other amenities. You might have to call when you arrive as no one was in the office and check in is 2 on the paperwork but 3 online. ||We booked through Expedia which stated pet friendly and never asked if we were bring a dog. Cabin 5 isn’t pet friendly but Daniel was gracious enough to let us stay and charged extra $25 because of the dog. Fair. But on his web page it’s $10, but apparently can range from 25-50 ||Beautiful property with the Roseway River right behind your cottage with benches, hammocks and a beautiful fire pit to enjoy. Deers love to visit which is a bonus! ||All in all we did enjoy our stay.

Totally enjoyed our stay are Roseway River Cottages. Clean and comfortable cottage, with a great view of the Roseway River.
Very quiet and relaxing. Convenient location close to town only a short drive away. Daniel was a super host, attentive and checking regularly if we needed anything.
Would definitely return for another visit.

Booked on whim with Expedia using my TD rewards points. We loved it, our cottage was freshly renovated and also very clean, chats with owner on phone were friendly but otherwise we were left alone. Only regret is we didn't stay a second night because we only had dogsitter for one night but we will plan to come back with dogs. Fabulous location even swam in the river and cute little Lockeport is perfect for day trip. Had all amenities you would need to stay for a week or longer.

Spent one night only, but could have stayed forever. Cottage 3 was very clean and had everything you needed. The firepit area was beautiful. The river was so peaceful to just sit and watch it tumble around. Will definately return for a longer stay and sit on the rocks in the river. Highly recommended.
