To my knowledge, this is the only track in the Maritimes with weekly racing.

Excellent racing each week. Usually good turnouts (15+ cars per class).

Food at the canteen is still 2002 pricing, which is nice.

Grandstands are a bit hard on the back. Take a blanket, a pillow or both.

I’ve been to 7 monster truck venues over the past year, I’ve never given a 5 star review until today. This was by far the best Halifax Monster Truck weekend that has been held at this venue, this year they changed it up and added gravel step up ramps. They worked their magic and the trucks went flying all over the pavement raceway, no more brake jumping the cars! It will be hard to top this weekend next year. Hopefully the food prices can be a little better, or if they could bring Food Trucks on site that would be awesome. Thank you Scotia I’ll be back!

Experience over things. That's what this place facilitates. On this particular day we went to see the monster truck rally and it was such a Good time!
Pictures included in this review and a tip... No matter what event you go to at this location, some amount of hearing protection is recommended, especially if you're carrying kids. Most of the events will have protection you can purchase but if you have at home, carry it along.

Always a good time when you get a little petrol fuelled adrenaline. Went to see the monster trucks and Motocross those time around. The part that I thought was great was the price for water. Normally, a place marks up water like crazy. This place knew it was a hot scorcer of a day, and still, the prices were low. AND on ice!
Everyone was pumped and happy to be there, and even security staff looked out for people, giving a couple of people some ear protection.
That being said, ALEAYS bring hearing protection to these events, especially with children.
They have races every Friday all summer long. Definitely go check it out!

We attended Monster trucks in the hottest heat of the day, with no shade to speak of. It was a great show, I enjoyed it but the kids found it too loud, even with double hearing protection. The concessions were cash only and the line up took an hour, but the food was pretty decent. Seating is old wooden benches that are no longer flat. I'd suggest bringing a cushion to sit on.

Very professional show. I really enjoyed the legends and bandolier divisions. The other car races were good but the track seems a little bit small for full size vehicles, still they do reach some pretty decent speeds. I went to "Friday Night at the Races" and it had an excellent vibe; good races and a excited crowd.

Was our first time here this summer, I took my son and his friend for kiddie night and it was great! Both boys are very busy and get bored easily but they absolutely loved every minute of it. The kids get to go for a ride in a car around the track before the races start. The driver they got was so nice, the boys left their signed cards behind so I called the office and the driver called back and said he would sign new ones and mail them out to the boys. Only thing I didn't like is it is CASH ONLY and the food is super expensive, BUT you are allowed to bring your own. Would definitely recommend it and hope to go back next summer.

Scotia Speedworld is a professional and well maintained facility with concessions, beer garden (never been) and extra washroom facilities during big events. I think I've been going here since they opened and I mainly follow the pro stock series.

There is lots of seating and parking. It can be a bit of a traffic nightmare leaving after big events but I think on some occasions they have traffic directors but they should be more assertive.

The PA system is lacking in sound quality and is only useful when the cars aren't on the track. I think you can bring your own headphones and radio/scanner to listen to teams and track officials and this is something I always wanted to try but have never done. The night races can be cool but are a bit of a drag here because the lights shine from behind you onto the track ‘through’ the fence. This lights up the fence and makes the track activity hard to see; something hard to fix I'm sure.

The track looks to be in great shape and over time almost all if not all the infield has been paved. It’s great that they let fans out on the track after the big race. It’s close racing that you can get close to.

Their website is one of the worst I've seen. I'm sure all the 'content and news' you would want is there but it’s so visually unpleasing, it's almost painful.

Glad to have short track racing so close to the city. Don't forget to bring ear plugs!
