Update: I successfully sued ship my ride in the Provincal Court of British Columbia, and won. Yet ship my ride still refuses to pay for the damages they caused. Save your self some trouble and pick a more reputable business that might even follow a court order.

My car was delivered with the roof completely caved in, my car is completely destroyed. Damage was reported to them and they just tried to ghost me.

If you don’t believe me or any of the other reviews: check out their rating on the Better Business Bureau. You’ll find tons of stories of damaged vehicles and a pile of people who had to go to the RCMP to get their vehicles back.

Got my car shipped from Calgary to Vancouver with Ship My Ride. Friday drop off in Calgary and picked up my car in Vancouver on the following Thursday. The pick up date was a bit later than what they told me, but understandable given the recent snowfalls.
The only part I’m unsatisfied with was the communication. It seems like the company will only update me after I ask for updates, and did not proactively communicate with me unless I initiated. They were fast to respond but only when I called/emailed first.
If you decide to ship with this company, just make sure to keep proactively asking for updates on the status of your vehicle.

As with other review, If I could give a 0 star I would. Poor Quality, Poor Value, Unprofessional, Not on Time.

I was recommended this company to transport my vehicle from Toronto to Calgary and booked with them based on that recommendation without reading reviews. Nancy was very good and responsive during the quote/booking process until payment was made and the vehicle was dropped off at the departure terminal on Sept 16th. to depart Toronto between the 23rd and 26th. The last contact I had with them was a few days after drop off where they said that the vehicle would be departing Toronto on the 27th and would be delivered to the dealership in Calgary by the end of the week.

I received no communication from that point and expected there were no issues. Starting the 29th I tried to contact them to confirm delivery I tried the 4 email addresses I had, every extension of their main office phone number and Nancy's cellphone with no response.

On Tuesday Oct 5th with still no response I enabled a GPS tracker in the car and found it moving around in Edmonton. Again could still not establish contact leaving text messages, voice mails and emails. On Wednesday Oct 6th I watched the car moving all over Calgary (past the drop off location several times) I again was unable to establish contact with them, but emailed and texted that if the vehicle was not delivered of my messaged responded to by end of day I would be calling the police. Thursday October 7th the vehicle appeared to be stationary in a yard outside Calgary, due to not receiving any communication from Ship My Ride I have called the police who have found the car sitting dirty in the back of an open and unsecured yard.

I am now left with a tow bill to have the vehicle removed from the yard as well as potentially the cost of replacing the vehicle keys. The worst part is that a friend emailed requesting a quote on the afternoon of Wednesday October 6th and received a quote from Nancy on the morning of Thursday Oct 7th

As a follow up, I did some more research. the subcontract their transportation out to other carriers. I found out that my vehicle was being transported by Abhi with Road Runner Freight INC. He was trying to hold my car ransom for payment from Ship My Ride who was in arrears with him.

If your car is "missing" and Shipmyride is unresponsive try reaching out to Road Runner.

"Zero star rating"...(Read the most recent reviews!)...This Company should not be in Business! I believed Nancy when I was calling around for quotes early in 2021, she convinced me that ShipMyRide was experienced in transporting Vehicles across Canada. I did receive many Text Messages/E-Mails from Nancy up to and including the day my Credit Card Information and Vehicle was handed over. It took just short of 4 Months to transport my Vehicle from Calgary, Alberta to St. John's, Newfoundland (110 days to be precise). The "updates" from Tyron in Shipping became non-existent! After no replies to multiple E-Mails, Phone Calls, WhatsApp, Facebook and Text Messages and expecting the worst, I had no other choice than to contact the Calgary Police and the Better Business Bureau. Low and behold me, shortly afterwards my Vehicle was delivered on September 01st, 2021. (Was handed over on May 14th, 2021). Shocking Service and zero respect for their Customers. Honestly, stay away from this Company!!

DO NOT USE THIS ‘COMPANY’! They are completely unprofessional, they do not keep their word or answer their phone or emails.
I set up a shipment for my car from Edmonton to Toronto and I flew to Toronto to receive it on the date they promised it’s arriving only to find out it hasn’t been shipped yet. It only shipped 3 weeks after they said it would arrive costing me another flight.
They do not update you or communicate with you. Even when your car has arrived, they do not notify you. I had to track my car down from a third party company that received it.
It’s understandable if the car is dirty on the outside but I received my car FULL of mud on the inside !
My gear box inside the car was also broken which didn’t allow me to drive it home when I went to pick it up. The company’s response to that was “maybe some of your stuff inside the car damaged it.”
Save yourself the trouble and the stress and use any other shipping company. Ship my ride is not worth it and not even cheaper than other companies.

I shopped around and checked the prices of about 10 companies before choosing Ship My Ride. Their rates were extremely competitive, and they had the best customer service which is why I ended up choosing them. I shipped my 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class from Toronto to Calgary; the process was extremely painless and I was surprised when they called me one week after it was dropped off at the Toronto terminal to pick it up in Calgary. I would definitely recommend this company.

The sales rep I used was Nancy, she was patient and very helpful.

After a very bad experience, I will not recommend this company for anyone looking for sincere shippers. Most of the bad reviews here about them not picking up calls, communicating or professional is actually correct in my own experience.

This company was supposed to transport my car from Saskatoon to Calgary and did not do it. This was after they had received all the paperwork from me. After getting to Saskatoon they decided they will not pick up the car and failed to let me know. This ended up costing me more than I had anticipated. For over one week, I kept calling the fellow I was speaking with (called Manny). This fellow refused to pick my call or respond to my text messages. I then called him from another international phone number, that was when he picked up and told me he decided not to pick up my car. I was surprised and asked him why didn’t he just tell me on time so I can arrange another company for pick up. He did not respond. Personally not going to use this company again and wouldn’t recommend anyone to use them.

All the negative reviews are true ! We had to go and fetch our car from the depot in Bolton after waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive. We were told it was loaded on a trailer waiting to be transported to us in 6 more days but it had been at the depot for at least 2 weeks already. No one explained WHY. Customer service is non-existent and when that happens you get to a point where you lose any remaining trust. My assets will never be moved by this awful outfit again.
