My son was verbally berated, cussed out, called an FKN idiot and to shut the FK up... In front of a full bus of kids. My son was sitting beside a child that was screaming and my son was playing on his phone. The bus driver began berating my son and to "shut the FK up", while my son tried to explain to the driver that it wasn't him making the noise.

My son who has emotion regulation issues was mortified at the embarassing situation, the driver wouldn't let him speak and when he feels attacked he doesn't back down (even though he's so upset) my son spoke up against his behaviour telling him to stop swearing in front of the kids, the bus driver became more enraged and refused to have him on his bus again. My son was telling me what happened fighting back tears and I had to calm him down.

After immediately reaching out to the Skelhorn company, leaving multiple voicemails during the week that all said "there is a serious issue I wish to discus that involves bus route ### please call me to discuss a solution immediately - insert my number"

No calls returned, and the bus driver continues to refuse my son at the bus stop telling him "you better start walking" (it's roughly a hour walk) The principal of the school received a report from the driver where he confessed he "lost his temper". Nothing has been done, company continues to avoid addressing the problem, and my son has recorded evidence of the drivers behavior. They are in such desperate need of drivers, they will keep adults employed who are absolutely abhorrent towards children and avoid any real disciplinary actions towards adults, who we as parents are expected to trust the care of our children to.

At this point the only redemption the company could do is fire the driver and replace him. Anything less would be a laughable solution to have my son go back on a bus with an adult who terrified, belittled, and berated him in front of his peers where the adult encouraged his peers "just ignore him he's a FKN idiot"

My son is 12.

Update: company still refuses to return my calls this is the second week of no school transport with no letter from the company explaining why, no call, no discipline. I suggest all parents with issues document and file complaints with the school and school board. They do not deserve a contract to work with kids.

I would absolutely give a 0 if it was possible. They're beyond rude and they take responsibility for NOTHING. The very first day of school, my junior kindergartener was switching sides of the seat since the kid sitting with him was going to be getting off first, and the driver blasted my son. He didn't tell him to sit down, he screamed at him as if that is acceptable. The following week, the driver showed up more than 15 minutes early, (well outside their 10 minute window), and passed my kids as they were heading to their stop. I did call and try to rectify the situation, but they took no responsibility and said it wasn't their problem. Then, another student's mom had an emergency and had to leave the country so we tried to arrange for her to get on the bus with our kids since she will be staying with us, and they denied her access. We tried for 2 weeks to get an answer as to why and they glat out won't give us an answer. (And yes, there are available seats on the bus).. i always buy christmas gifts and end of the year gifts for the drivers, and have personally been giving this driver gifts for the last 4.5 years and there will be nothing this year. Nadda. They think it's not only no problem, but acceptable to be super rude to not only my kids, but also myself as well as the other students parent. They wonder why they can't keep drivers? Maybe take a reflection on how they're running the company. ?

Garbage compny garabage operator. My kids bus driver was fired and there was no comunicaton. A week later and still nothing. When contacted as to why no notification was put out, the woman kept repeating a prepared statement that did not answer any questions or concerns. Worst bus company, worst customer service, just a garage company. Avoid sending your kids to school in Petwawa, as the bus service sucks.
