Horrible customer service. Rarely picked up the phone and never answered emails.

Muscle Gain Plan: didn’t come with nutrition info as advertised. Couldn’t select meals as advertised, so you won’t know what you’ll get. Inconsistent delivery: week 1 food delivered. Week 2 no food delivered with no explanation whatsoever. Week 3 food delivered after I requested refund. Week 4 no delivery as requested, but still waiting for the refund. Entering week 5 as of this time of writing.

I made a mistake of committing for 3-months plan, thought I’d support local business. It’s been a nightmare trying to get a refund (over $2k).

The food itself tastes good, so it’s really unfortunate that it has poor business conduct.

Currently two weeks into my monthly meal plan and loving it! Meals are delicious and all the calories and macros tracking is noted so it’s easy to add into My Fitness Pal. Couple favorites are the Jerk Chicken Summer Salad and the Sweet and Spicy Turkey Balls. Delivery is easily trackable through the email so I know exactly when it will arrive.

EDIT 2: Received food on 3 Sept. It is FANTASTIC. Leaving review to 4 stars for now due to the issue below. Other than that mishap everything is great!

Edit: just received correspondence from them stating they are closed this week and claimed they sent out an email to all customers regarding this. I did not receive an email. It would also be helpful to state this on the website. I will continue to adjust the review as necessary

Phone number on their website is WRONG. Use Google's listed business phone number. I called and kept getting pushed to the answering machine. Eventually they sent me a text.

I heard about Smooth Meal Prep from a colleague when I was looking for a solution to returning to consistent nutrition. I opted to try it for a month and I can't see myself turning back! The low-carb meals are simple yet VERY flavourful. Love that delivery is twice a week to keep things fresh. The variety in meals is something I wouldn't be able to get by cooking on my own without paying a small fortune and wasting a lot of food. I've saved so much decision making time by having the meals waiting for me in the fridge. As a solopreneur, that means more time to focus me and my business. The cherry on top is that customer service is second to none! Oh and I LOVE that they support youth in their community through entrepreneurship mentorship.

Smooth Meal Prep is A+!
Great variety of meals and wonderful customer service. Nevell the owner even hand delivered me meals a couple of times and it made the entire customer experience a great one. The food is really fresh and I love it’s home style vibes. You can definitely tell there is lots of love being put into each and every meal! The only suggestion/feedback I have is that they start doing breakfast! 5 STARS +++

I enjoyed Smooth. The meals are simple, yet flavourful, well cooked and high quality. They are geared in favor of the fitness crowd. My only complaint is the portions. I’m 6’3 210lbs and the “Muscle Gain” meals are literally my Fat Loss meals, and the Fat Loss meals are like zero carb and unsustainable. I would need to eat 5-6 of the “muscle gain” meals per day to even come close to my macros/calories, making them no longer affordable for me.

The website is full of error codes. It has a link to see this weeks menu but there is nothing to see. I would of ordered from them but the flimsey and not well updated site, mixed in with the bad review of the last reviewer on here have led me to look elshere for a meal service.

Week 2 of lunch only plan. Super happy with the service, it’s a great help in a hectic week. Plus this week one of the meals is called “Egg Roll in a Bowl” 😂. So they are funny, too. Nice simple clean food that I can add to if I feel the need based on my activity levels. I may do this forever.
