Spud has amazing quality, service and really great pricing. I have found many organic products less expensive than at Superstore and Loblaws. The accuracy of my orders, reusable bins and little or no waste/plastic is why I am, and will continue to be, a loyal (and happy!) customer.

SPUD charged me for over $150+ worth of groceries and then told me it was too late to pick them up, they've donated them! They wouldn't refund me so I called my credit card company and got a refund. You call yourselves community but you're customer service ignored and gaslit me for months. That transaction was the last straw.

Prior to that mess ^ SPUD regularly delayed my deliveries beyond the delivery window making me wait all day for a delivery (far from convenient), they would confirm an item and then they day of delivery email me stating they were out of stock of multiple things, VERY UNRELIABLE. My produce would come soggy and soft, bad apples, moldy lemons. Just god awful service!!

Don't waste your money or your time! There are plenty of delivery services these days, SPUD is not a contender.

Since joining Spud, our lives have changed dramatically for the better. The produce is always fresh and tastes as though just picked. The variety of locally-sourced fresh veggies and fruit, as well as dried goods and pre-made products provides us with a 1-stop shopping experience. And the Subscribe & Save feature is the only way to go! Finally, Spud's customer service is second to none. This company aims to please and adapts to any need you might have. I highly recommend Spud!

We have been shopping at Spud since the pandemic started and love the food and service. I had an issue with one of my orders and they responded very quickly, within 24 hours. Yes, it’s pricey but you you get organic products and know where the produce is coming from. We try to shop locally and it’s great to know the km saved with each order. Thank you for the great service!

Ordering from Spud saves me from having to drive around the city looking for quality organic or sustainable food at the right prices. It also saves me money and time by not having to step into a big grocery store and buying way more than I need. Lastly I absolutely love that I can order before 10pm tonight and have It delivered tomorrow if need be!

I have been using SPUD for more than 6 years. I particularly like their organic apples, pears, oranges because the quality is almost always good compared to those organic from local grocery store. Their Hutterite eggs are good quality and cheaper than local grocery stores (compared with similar quality eggs). Once a while, items are missing or wrong item is sent but their automatic refund system is easy and no fuss. Thank you for good quality food and the great service! I highly recommend it.

Poor customer service, slow to respond to concerns. Have been using SPUD for a number of years and have had very few issues. When I reached out to let them know the delivery was sent without properly refrigeration they said they would look into it and have been dragging their feet for weeks. Milk, eggs and probiotics at temperatures above safe storage limits.
Simple solution would be to refund the items in question and adjust delivery procedures instead of letting this go weeks without a solution.
Do better SPUD.

Groceries aside, the biggest thing that keeps me coming back to Spud every week is their customer service. It's hands down the best! The quality of the food is excellent and I love that I can choose from local vendors.

UPDATE:
I used to love Spud. When I first started using them over 5 years ago, they were amazing. Awesome customer service, great products. However, over the past year or so, the costs have gone up so much that it's just not worth it for us anymore. We were members, so delivery was free. Initially it was a (approx) min. $35 order, then it rose to approx $50 and more recently $75. I cancelled my membership (which they were great about) because we just weren't ordering that much every week. On top of it, if you used any promo code or credits that would bring the cost down, then you had to make sure to spend enough to cover whatever credits you used + the minimum order value. Very frustrating. I received an email today letting me know that my credits will be expiring in 3 days if I don't use them. So I went on to see what I could do to use them. But, delivery is $9, with a $75 minimum order. And I know that if I add my $30 credits from points, I'll actually have to spend about $105. This has a long winded review, but I'm disappointed in the direction Spud has gone. Once upon a time they were 5 stars for me, and now they're maybe 3 stars.
