Brisk handled an incoming shipment for another company I had contracted with. The team at Brisk took care of many aspects the original company does and went above and beyond to help move my items through customs which saved a long trip to Toronto for 15 minutes with customs.

I sent a shipment earlier this year and in my several international moves during the past decade, this was easily the worst experience ever. Brisk Cargo would definitely provide you with the best rates, but expect them to use shady overseas partners and poor quality packing material. By the time I received the shipment of my container in the destination country, all boxes had collapsed, damaging the contents - numerous chinaware were retrieved broken, books had been thrown into miscellaneous items boxes damaging the books beyond repair, and the screen of my 55" TV had shattered without Brisk or their local partner holding responsibility. Also, when my shipment arrived at the destination, the local clearing agent of Brisk cargo asked for an additional thousand dollars as a "security deposit". This was a shock for me as I had already paid for a door-to-door service excluding customs duty. I checked with Brisk and they asked me to pay up since all my deposit would be "fully refunded". The local clearing agent ended up not returning any of my security deposit as he claimed it was due to demurrage - which happened because the clearing agent was slow in cleaning the shipment. On top of that, when my household goods were being inspected by the Customs, the clearing agent did not call me to the customs as a result of which a large number of my boxes were cut open, including even rubber-coated dumb bells which were cut open and damaged by the customs, without the clearing or customs holding any responsibility for it. I would strongly suggest to steer clear of Brisk Cargo by all means.

Great service! Sent two boxes to Sri Lanka recently and they were received right on the expected delivery date they gave me. No damage to any of the goods we sent and really happy with their service. Ms. Wasanthi and Mr. Nathan are nice and helpful. Totally recommend them.
Just an additional note, call them before you visit them at Scarborough location because they might be out station. They will make arrangements to receive your boxes, they are very flexible.
