Today I lost my mom today she was recovering from hip surgery at Stirling manor I wanted to add the care that the nurses and psw give is outstanding. I was able to spend quality time with my mom. No palliative care room available during Reno’s but they will try to accommodate. The place is not fancy but it has heart and compassion.
The food is great. They hired activity coordinators.
Renos are taking place to improve the place.
Staff accommodated everyone with meals on tables outside rooms.
The gardens are outstanding. A residence wife took it upon herself to beautify the gardens. There is a friendship garden in the back a little hidden gem. Worth seeing and taking time to visit.
You can beautifully decorate your room with with home touches.

Welcom to Stirling manor prison, For our loved ones ,They get trapped and treated like prisoners, As well as visitors coming to visit in the home of our family members, Now have installed security cameras in hallways to watch as we visit they totally do not follow government mandats set by provincial government and LTC , they set their own rules, To try to keep people from entering to visit a loved one ,What's up Stirling Manor, Terrible place, Very outdated, no proper diets meals, no management on site on Fridays , Very seldom return calls
