"We're not royalty, but we'll treat you royally" is their motto. In reality, this is a royal rip-off. The company charges twice as much as their competitors, and the units aren't fit for the storage of any goods. Here's a sample unit. The door barely works, one wall is covered with mold from a faucet, above which is a high-voltage electrical outlet. Another 'wall' consists of a window not properly attached and barely covered by blinds, while an electrical outlet hangs down from the ceiling. The company refused to return my calls and emails. After I got the BBB involved, they provided a refund. My recommendation? Stay far away from this one.

*Edit 2025: Very sad the owner's response was to lie about the experience, and in such an obvious way. How can the review be 'sour grapes' if he 'never rented' to me? Anyways, I have added a screenshot showing the refund he sent me after I complained.

(I also have the contract, email correspondence, and correspondence with the BBB, and the metadata showing the date the photos was taken matches the date on the contract...)

Not sure what to make of them. I rented a unit for a months and when I moved my stuff out I called them and emailed them in order to get my deposit back. I have yet to hear back from them. They don't answer phone calls or return emails, there is no office that I am aware of so I am not sure what my next step will be. I gave it one star as that is the lowest you can go.I wrongly assumed that they would just return my deposit and after waiting over two weeks, I started trying to contact them so this has been going on for a while. Just beware renting a unit from them.

I had a storage unit here for over 6 years. It was always hassle free! They always answered my calls or questions. They were super kind, I was here before this company owned it and the quality of service never changed. Would definitely recommend

Stowaway Storage is a really great business to deal with. We were in urgent need of a storage unit and they were extremely helpful in getting us set up right away. Very professional but also wonderful people to deal with. If you’re in need of a clean and dry storage unit this is the place to go!
